Unfortunately, the Government of Tinubu did not think through how this act would affect a weak, import-dependent nation like ours. We will need to go back to the drawing board. The process should have been gradual while we tried to strengthen and add value by encouraging import substitution being done by our fledging local industries so that we could absorb the shocks of this action. So, too, would have been the decision to float the Naira.
What most Nigerians dont understand is that this man lacks empathy and is incapable of being a leader, he cant give you what he does not have, a leader requires, charisma, empathy, compassion, passion, understanding and wisdom, which one do you think this man possess? My prayer is just for God's will to be done because anybody that is waiting for this man to make a decision that will transform Nigeria is wasting their time because he does not have it in him.
Reduce feul price to N200., students loan to students bursary, politicians collect N70k minimum wage, allow boarders opened for food stuff free flow, empower Naira as a matter of emergency
Let's be frank the speech was empty. Everything is expensive, that president is talking about increasing revenue, what is the impact of increase in revenue to anything in Nigeria since coming in, zero.
