First dog in history to be ‘cancelled’: Rescue pup faces Pride Month

- Author Jonathan Miller explains the story of how his rescue puppy Bella became the first dog in history to be “cancelled” as companies mark Pride Month in June.
Mr Miller said he received an email from GPS-tracker company Tractive suggesting he buy a rainbow flag cover for his furry friend’s device cover.
“I rather grumpily wrote to Tractive in Austria and I said, why don’t you just concentrate on tracking dogs and cease the virtue signalling,” he told Sky News Australia host Piers Morgan.
“I got a reply that said, thank you for your email - we’ve cancelled your subscription to Tractive so you can no longer track your dog.”
Mr Miller added however, “all’s well that ends well” as the company’s CEO sent an email humbly apologising for the cancellation following media backlash.
Bella is worth more than Any of these people "cancelling" her. She's an honest dog soul.

Ok but lets be real- I know several friends who were physically made homeless by their parents who professed very similar views to the man in the clip. They on the surface appeared very polite and "loving", but their actions showed differently. When your entire life has consisted of attacks upon who you feel you are, is it abnormal to be antagonistic? I would argue it is far more abnormal to be truly loving and accepting. In fact, very few people I have met truly would do for people outside of their perceived communities something that they want to see from those communities- I have even given people those chances to do so and they did not. To be clear I speak not just of LGBTQ people, but all people. As a people we are tribal, and it is the source of countless problems. But if we react with ridicule, such as what you exhibit here, to the pained reaction of deeply hurt individuals, then we can hardly expect those individuals to act with kindness. Before asking others for compassion, especially those who have been deeply hurt by society, I would council you to offer that compassion and unconditional acceptance yourself, even in the face of actions like this- making a pet unsafe is unacceptable, but it does not make the movement or the person bad. Likewise, just because a movement espouses love and acceptance doesnt mean their members will all practice that, but the failure of those members also doesn't necessarily make the group as a whole fail. The christian church is an excellent example- the vast majority of our members regularly fail at showing compassion, forgiveness, and love, but that doesn't change the fact that those are our central tenants. I am not a member of the lgbtq community, but I am a christian who wants to see less judgement and more compassion, which I encourage you to give. I dont know you and cannot judge you, but I can seek to provide the perspective of those who may be hurt by your words.

Because accidentally canceling an service the customer pays for is a misstep that should already trigger some sort of corrective action, even if it's little more than a stern talking to and a note in your record. But maliciously canceling that service on political grounds? That calls for immediate termination, as it amounts to gross misconduct.
That was just a BS excuse they gave him. The company only came back groveling because they didn't realise that the person they were trying to punish had a platform that enabled him to do commercial damage to the company by exposing their spiteful actions to millions of people.

Some owners just want peace of mind in knowing where the animal is in case they wander off. Is that being a 'bad owner' to you? Many would disagree in telling you that we should just leave nature alone and let animals do as they do naturally.

As a gay man myself I have endured a tremendous amount of backlash over my stance against the (so called) community and what it's become. As far as Im concerned the push ended with SCOTUS's ruling on same sex marriage all across the land years ago. Equal rights for all, that's it, now let's all go back to our lives and be at peace. Now we in turn have become what we once loathed and then some. I for one never had a say or vote on joining teams with all these other letters or groups. And I most certainly do not, in the slightest, approve of pushing our sexuality onto children. Nor of any form of grooming whatsoever. Nor of the public lewdness and explicit behavior witnessed at Pride Events. The rainbow flag itself has no business in the classroom, on any government building, or public structure for that matter. Int he same way that a child has ZERO business at a bar, drag show, & etc. It is utter madness that we have to make such statements to begin with! But this kind of warped nonsense is exactly what destroys progress and ruins opportunity. Opportunity for those gay and lesbian individuals or couples out there who in fairness are or have worked very hard to create loving families, adopt & raise children, provide decent homes, and etc. With many whom I personally know demonstrating tremendous success at it! And yes the letter group keeps on growing, with more letters coupling on the ever growing train by the day. Hence the + at the end. And if given their way, with the "minor attracted persons" bunch (aka pedos) joining soon. To hell with that sh-t, I'm OUT.

My dad is a security guard, had a woman being booped by a labrador, as dogs do. Well, she called the police and wanted to put a sexual harassment charge on the dog... She wasn't left or anything, just a really odd lady. My dad is friends with the policemen and they told him they tried hard not to laugh it off because they really didn't know what to tell her or do about it, its a dog, unless its aggressive there's really nothing to do. Some people are just very silly
That is crazy but owners should control their dogs. Not everyone wants their personal space evaded by animal.
