- These two teams are a lot closer than we'd like to admit. So who has the better approach long term? #Texans #Colts #HoustonTexans #IndianapolisColts #CJStroud #AnthonyRichardson #WeAreTexans #ForTheShoe
Any qb can get hurt. If your OL isn't strong enough to protect your qb ,they will get hurt. The qb has to be able to function outside the pocket also.
all ARs injuries were from running plays. down field. not the lines fualt. all designed qb runs
The Colts 💯% after this year the Colts will be the talk in lieu of the Texans!! AR gonna explode!!
0:22 No he also had the amazing 23pt comeback in the 2ᴺᴰ half against the Rams 2 weeks later, sending it into OT. Then it was week 5 against the titans where he substance the season ending injury
Wrong the Bengals were on a 5 game winning strike when we beat them
He’s right, the colts and Texans are neck and neck teams right now, ESPECIALLY after we got the best pass rusher in the draft and STOLE mitchell. AR5 will be an MVP candidate, if not win mvp outright on our way back to the playoffs. Lombardi is coming back HOME to INDY where it BELONGS!! BOOK IT!! #fortheshoe
I feel like it can be a bit misleading saying he only finished 1 game, while technically true… in week 1 he got a lil banged up trying to run over some defenders and left for the last 2 or 3 snaps of the game and that was it. Then week 2 it was a concussion because he let off the gas as he was entering the endzone and he even acknowledged that was a rookie mistake on his part. The concussion caused him to miss week 4 and then it was week 5 where he landed funny on his shoulder during a routine tackle that could’ve happened to anyone.
At this point, you can't really tell, lol. Have both teams addressed weaknesses on their team? Yes! Will it all come together and pan out? Don't know...lol nothings happened yet.
Texans and Colts are closer than many people thing and this is coming from a Texans fan. Now with the new signings, I do not know how they're going to perform. However, every Texan fans knows if our QB went down like AR, we wouldn't be in a position to win the division during the final week of the season. If Al-Shaair, Hunter, and Diggs is a significant upgrade over what we had last season, than there should be a wider gap.
Not to mention you have Tyler Goodson to thank for dropping that ball...
That's a good point. Colts fan here, I think we split this season
1:20 I still 100% defend that play call… on failed in execution and execution alone. Nothing wrong with the call itself
As a colts fan i dont like our secondary vs texans WRs and TEs
if u know football any, u know AR is a pocket passer that can run. he is not a scrambling qb. he throws from the pocket. i actually think he needs to run less
Is this even a question. There is no way you can even argue this yet.
You can’t argue that the colts are conceivably in the same place, they don’t have a battle tested QB he could be injury prone. Where as the Texans get a winning season take the afc south, and win a playoff game. After adding Diggs, Mixon, Hunter, Autry, so many more. It’s too big a gap
That’s on paper, we don’t know what will happen next year.
@@CHAZZ08 At the end of the day we can also look at the overwhelming veteran talent on one team. And the other having a qb that missed half the season and one maybe star receiver on the team. JT is good but he can’t carry
Minshew being gone will be a detriment. Flacco is not the guy if AR-15 goes down again. That’s the mean problem for the Colts besides their secondary
Houston only made the playoffs because Jacksonville and Indy Choked… Diggs is an old drama queen… Mixon is overpriced overused overrated
@@gardockis.playground lmao Indy hasn’t won the division since 2014 and hasn’t been to the playoffs since 2018. Jags do what they always do
You guys sound like some old ladies like I like listening to you guys but today you’re not making no sense at all
Care to elaborate at all? Or you just talking?
Yeah but they’ve always been that team that gives us issues in the division. And not to say they have a better team but our schedule could hinder us from separating ourselves in the division
Exactly we would beat in winning teams. What are you talking about?
Man wtf is Paul Gallant talking about. The Colts did nothing to get better. They still have to hit on picks which Ballard hasn’t done consistently over the past few years. Did they get a lot of guys with potential sure. Nothing is a definite but I think they take a step back from last year. Not a large step but a slight one
Take out your fandom for a minute man. Not saying they'll run away with the division but the Colts automatically take a big step forward with a healthy AR and JT on the field together. Think of the first few drives of week 2 but with Jonathan Taylor.
They also just had a pretty decent draft.
@@ENTERthe_Dragon nothing I said has anything to do with fandom
@@3rdCoastSportsTVyou literally almost lost the division to a part time QB & you think the Colts take a step back?
@@dantelabella9753 yes I do. The reason I believe this is you don’t have a threat at backup QB when AR goes down. Both teams improved. But I don’t think the colts improved as much as people think. The secondary is still in shambles and you have a qb that you don’t know can stay on the field consistently. It’s not about not liking someone it’s a football opinion only
Temper expectations. Can't argue that the Texans obviously overachieved last season, so more than likely, they will be the team to take a step back this year. Especially with a first place schedule.
Paul kinda sounds like a Gators (Anthony Richardson) fanboy lol. Colts are still a 8-9 win team, and definitely a tough out. But, I still see Houston’s roster as being a step above the Colts.
Houston needed Indy and Jags to choke to make the playoffs 😂
@@gardockis.playground With how close the AFC South was, this would’ve been true regardless of who won the south. Let’s say Indy beats Houston, you could easily say Indy needed Houston to choke to win the division. That’s also true for the Jags as well. Meaning, I’m not really sure what you were hoping to add to the discussion. My comment about the rosters was in relation to the current rosters of each team, and not the rosters from last season.
@@bryanofriviayou can sing and dance around all you want.. we know Houston struggled (both times) we played… against our backups 👌😅 your best isn’t better then our B team.. now adding washed up old players in free agency and C- draft 😂 Go swarm it up
@@gardockis.playground not even a Texans fan, but go off. You’re clearly just projecting, and the only one singing, or dancing around anything is you. Believe whatever you like, because I don’t care what you think. You’re just some irrelevant nobody whose opinion I couldn’t care less about. Whatever makes you feel more secure, and more confident about yourself.
@@bryanofrivia lol but only Indy was working without their starting QB tho? So how can you say the Texans roster is a step above when they were 1-1 and barely beat a backup QB? Look what AR did to the Rams and Texans for one quarter and tell me he doesn’t make the colts offense 10x more dangerous.
Wrong the Bengals were on a 5 game winning strike when we beat them
