  • Using 1/2" PVC to mount two bullet cams inexpensively above the Snoek. Cost is about $5 from Home Depot. I record all my rides so the dash cams are always there. I use a GoPro QR should they can removed easily. Testing shown includes a long descent.

What kind of helmet do you use? Very nicely done

Thanks for the video. I'm still using 28mm front tires on the DFXL (gen 1) but would like the 40mm scorchers (roads here are quite terrible too). Have you tried wider tires on the DF or is that still just a sitting project? I'm even considering dishing the wheels outward to get more clearance in the front wheel wells.

The DF can be ridden as is. Obviously I gotta pump up the tires etc. My DF wheels are offset inwards for the Daniel Fenn wheelpants, and I believe mine is from before they made the front wheel wells larger, so there's no chance of Scorchers on mine.

@@shenzhenpingpong Thanks, same with mine it's definitely double digit DFXL number so way before the 2018 or 2019 update with larger wheel wells. Maybe I'll just see how much 32s up front affect turning radius.

@@pedalpowercycling contact urbans are 32mm. Could be good

@@shenzhenpingpong Thanks! I actually bought a 32mm pair at bike24 before they banned those shipments to US. Do you have another source / shop in Germany? Most purchases from the states are 2x the cost.

@@pedalpowercycling yes, I bought them from Bike24 too for 16.50 euros each in 2023. I haven't bought any in 2024. We have to hunt for a new inexpensive source.
