What gets me is if Morrisey wasn't writing the music- then how the hell did he proceed to put out album after album of (mostly) great Smith sounding (kinda) music after they broke up? Did he write ANY of the Smiths songs. Not even the odd, different one -How Soon is Now? This invariably brings up Ozzy. The Oz.(yes, one of his tags). So The Moz didn't write any Smiths songs but his successful solo career was based upon Smiths like music he wrote himself? The Oz didn't write very many songs when he was in Black Sabbath. Not at all. Very few and mostly pieces. But post Sabbath his hugely successful solo career was similarly charmed and very lucrative. Ozzy did have Randy Rhoads.

He's not nobody. I agree that Morrissey is King but you can't compare the two, they are completely different artists. Morrissey is a singer and lyricist, Johnny is a guitarist and songwriter.

I don't know if I have the tune in my head first or the lyrics in mind when I crave a Moz song. That's what's so great about about him and his band.
I think he is remained more who he was and who he is than the great majority of people.

Estate means property owned by wealthy ppl in the States but in the UK it means something else
It means "housing estate". Basically public housing for low-income families on the dole (which incidentally means welfare...)
