  • SW Florida woke up to 82 degrees. Tropical Storm Debby is out of the area, but what does the beach look like. I was able to access the tip of the island this morning (Gasparialla Island State Park). The road was no longer flooded and the park was open. As you can see, people looking for treasures, birds diving for fish, waves still pretty strong and the wind still blowing. If you have been watching my videos, the rocks/boulders at the end of the island you can tell have been pushed closer to the ramp. I could not get to the other side today. It is truly amazing the strength of the ocean as the rocks have pushed in and out over the course of years.
I hit the other beach access points I was at during Tropical Storm Debby to give you a better idea of what it looks like now. White foam was being pushed in from the ocean and just not a pleasant day for hanging at the beach. At least you can walk the beach if you wanted to. Not many were out but there were some enjoying nature.
The South Beach Restaurant that was destroyed during Hurricane Ian will be opening again soon. You will see it within this video. So exciting that they are coming back. Such a great place to eat. If you are ever visiting the island make sure to stop and get a bite.
I hope you enjoyed this video, if so, please like so that more will see these videos. Also, share this channel with others. Thanks for watching.
