Hey Guys!!!! "The Monkey's Paw" is a horror short story by W. W. Jacobs…..Not Edgar Allan Poe😅 AND It’s ROD Serling Idk why I kept saying Ron lol 🤦🏽♀️😂
"will the real Martian plz stand up", "the Grave", "to serve man", "what you need", Third from the sun" 'the howling man", "eye of the beholder", Mr Dingle the strong", "a hundred yds over the rim", "the silence", "the midnight sun". are some of my faves
The first season had a lot of my favorites: "Where is Everybody", "Pitch for the Angels" (Murray Hamilton from BJ and the Bear/ Jaws), "Time Enough at Last" (Burgess Meredith), "The Lonely" (Jack Warden), "The Monsters are due on Maple St" (Claude Akins)," The Hitchhiker"(Inger Stevens) to name a few.
Twilight Zone (1959) - my mother had been a big fan around 1970 when those episodes got on German TV for the first time. Me thought them to scarry back then I had changed my mind when I became older. :) To the History of the show. Many folks forget or don´t know that SERLING had done another show witrh a similar content before. That were the ONE STEP BEYOND episodes. Also very intresting to watch. You find them almost complete on TH-cam. 21:09 A commen fate to most Lotterie Winneers. Even against better advise they ofter squander there found riches and don´t think ahead. 24.26 So the story put in a slight variation. The real Hitler had shot himself and Eva Braun
Glad to see you getting into old school shows, I grew up watching twilight zone, it was a favorite, things are so different now, as you can see in the way the films are made, not to mention couture differences, glad we've grown as a people, but i miss yesterday's simple way
I just became aware of your channel, probably because of the TH-cam algorithm! I do like the original series the best! The Hitchhiker and After Hours are among my top 🎩 10 favorite episodes! I'm speaking for myself only when I mention this! I feel like life itself is like The Twilight Zone because it is so enigmatic, neferious, sinister, melevolent and unpredictable! Similar to the 🛏️🏨 Hotel 🛍️🏨 California where there seems to be no way out! Like you, I love 🎥 📽️ films that have a lot of twists and turns, along with plot twists that you don't see coming and throw you for a ➰ loop! I'd also like to suggest and recommend that you react to some Alfred Hitchcock 🍿 movies like Psycho, Vertigo, Strangers On A 🚂 Train, among others! Last set of recommendations would be you reacting to Get Out from 2017, Before I Fall from 2016, Age Of Adaline from 2015, the former NBC and now on NETFLIX series MANIFEST which is about a time traveling and parallel jumping ✈️ airplane! I'm glad I found your channel and am looking forward to watching more of your content! Good luck on your channel and take care!
My favorite ones are as follows... The masks, the one with the poolhall gambler, the one with the robot, and the one with the ventriloquist...!!! I think you are cool as hell and I'm very surprised you and your age group are into the Twilight zone... Very cool...!!!!!!
I'll have to re-watch some of the old ones episodes I missed, since I only remember the populr ones that were played to death in reruns. Also I remember, decades ago, discussing the ludicrous tax rate of the genie episode. The '80s version was my favorite though, so I'll hold off mentioning my absoulte favorite until you post that video.
Every young person needs to discover this fine series. The Twilight Zone by writer Rod Serling offered excellent scripts and any body who would soon be in top Tier acting roles started on this show. A lot of character actors took roles in this show and it turned out to be a career move that set them on the road to bigger roles. William Shatner, Robert Redford, Charles Bronson, Elizabeth Montgomery, Vera Miles, Robert Duvall, Dana Andrews, Cliff Robertson , Ann Francis, the list goes on and on.
My Mom loves The Twilight Zone. She watches it now and then if it's on something, I watched some of the old episodes but I did remember watching the reboot back in '02 on UPN, one of the episodes in the '02 version brought back one of the original characters when he was a kid and in the '02 version now he's an adult and I believe that he was the same actor who played the same role when he was a kid now as an adult.
Great hearing about the black eyed peas thing. It's a tradition for is on Tennessee. Curious as to what part of the country you learned it from. Funny part is I don't know its origins other than we've always done it.
I always assumed the mannequins hear customers speaking throughout the store so when it's their turn, they gravitate to what appeals to them. And there is an abandoned house that they live in.

"Of Late I Think of Cliffordville". "Nick of Time". "He's Alive". "Will the Real Martian Please Stand Up." "A World of Difference". BTW, "Monkey's Paw" wasn't Poe, but W.W. Jacobs.
