To give hope to anyone struggling, I would like to say that I was badly addicted since age 12. It darkened my mind and turned me into an absolutely selfish degenerate at heart for many years. I used to indulge daily, and then when I began to hate it in recent years, I was still succumbing to it at least weekly. It has now been over two months without pornography. I still struggle with lust but this is one heavy burden I feel I have thrown away by the grace of God, and I long to continue fighting off any other burdens of sexual lust I may carry. It is a very difficult addiction to shake off, but it is possible. It will leave scars however. Be prepared to deal with that. May God give strength and mercy to any and all of us struggling with these sins.
Incredible story, my brother in Christ. I would like to add my own story to give hope to any that are suffering from this as well. Was addicted to pornography since middle school, even spending hours awake at night just watching the most lustful content I could find. Years went on and the demon wanted me to feed it more and more content. It destroyed me, destroyed how I saw women, and destroyed the young women I had gone out with during these times. And then I stopped. And then I continued. Then a week went on without any lustful content. Then I went back to pornography, then stopped, then continued, etc. It was a war. Then Christ returned me, His lost sheep, and I have never gone back. It has been over a year now that I have not seen pornography. I hate it with my entire being. Like you mentioned, the scars stay with you. However, they no longer hurt when you confess your sins to Christ and begin to repent. I have to humble myself, and remember that there is no sin too big for Christ to forgive. God bless you, you will be in my prayers.
@@RobertOnTH-cam. I can relate a decent bit. I thank God I was never in a legit relationship and too weird in high school to attract anyone, because during the height of my addiction my intentions with women were the absolute worst. I had no heart back in those atheistic days.

As someone who has struggled with pornography addiction and other addictions in my life, i can speak from experience that the only way to fight it is to take it head-on. Face it head on. There is no shame in admitting that you have a problem and you need help. We all need help at times. Thankfully, Christ is there to help us with our struggles. Thank you for your words and thoughts, Father.
Can I ask what "taking it head on" ment for you with this problem? What does that look like? I am not married and it has been about 8 years since I had relations with a woman. I do good for a while sometime a long while, but seem to fall time and time again. I do get back up but It's very trying to remain pure.
@JVTRUTH taking a sin head on can mean different things for different people. However, some things that are in common with taking any sin head on is to confess it to your spiritual priest. If you don't have a spiritual priest then seek to have one so you can get help from someone who can get to know you and will know your progress through battling that sin. Besides that, tackling it head on can also mean coming clean to your close ones and telling them about your struggle. If you know someone wise that could give you advice, go and speak to them. Look up online what books or chapters from the Bible address overcoming sin and put together a reading plan for yourself. You said you have periods of time in which you overcome it but then it happens again. Why is that? Was it temptation? How do you remove that temptation? Is it through certain music, movies, youtubers, friends, family that have normalised this sin? Just some questions to reflect on if you haven't yet. And last but not least, pray, pray and pray again. Pray at all times of the day and if there's a certain time of the day when you usually fall into this sin then especially pray then. Call to God. He hears, He listens, He loves you. Seek and you will find. Ask and you will be answered. Best wishes to you! This is just my advice, but I hope it can inspire you to find the strength you're looking for.
@JVTRUTH for me, taking it head on ment first, I had to acknowledge that I had a problem and searching for something that could help. Is addiction to another faith other than one you as couple have been married also a kind of ponography, cheating and adultery.
I almost throw up listening to this.😢
I am addicted to it since I am kid,I have been trapped. I am 31 and single, had only 1 gf in highscool, never had sex.My brain is destroyed. How can I quit?
@NobodyRC-lk4tt how you win? 20 mins ago just cried about it,my brain gives me big pains, especially prefrontal cortex. I don't want to talk with anybody
By calling on the help of Jesus Christ. Never cease praying. ✝️🙏🏻
Just stop. Cold Turkey. Go to church, pray instead. Take one year to be totally celibate and work on yourself. Grow as a man, get good male friends, work outdoors, hike, learn how to build things. In time, you’ll meet a wonderful woman to marry. Be chaste until your wedding night. Take your vows and yourself seriously.
We overcome by the power of Jesus Christ our Lord alone. Look to Him and He will set you free
@@ItsWorkingTogetherForMyGood I started to pray even with tears, still nothing happens, maybe I am not that faithful:(
