Most of these child stars have a really terrible education beyond acting, singing and dancing. Probably she spent most of her time in the Disney studios, getting tutored in between scenes. Legally childm actors have to have 4 hours a day devoted to school-work during shooting days, and it's supposed to be equivalent to high school, but of course it isn't.

Selena Gomez is a very bad singer, she just can't sing, but she is a good actress, I personally think should Keep focus just on acting.
I agree, her vocal area musically isn't great, but I think her music is pretty good. I am not crazy about her acting.
Yeah of course, she has a good team production on her back though, and i have one of her songs too on my iphone, but on live she's really weak, at least she should study with a better teacher, some opera music, which would allowed her to open her voice and breath correctly ;)

+Michael Eaton wtf?! She's never been a "drunken fool" the whole rehab/drugs/drinking thing was made up by the media. She was actually getting treated for lupus. Also when has she ever gotten angry in a GQ interview?! Where's your proof. She's one of the most down to earth, normal child stars.
+Michael Eaton she did of small role acting as well as a few full movies. then she is focusing on her music and tour now. you just haven't been informed. after touring she hopes to focus on acting again. She is however working on production for tv series and such
