      I feel like i havee a pretty good swing, but the elbow acts a little bit funny inside sometimes.
      I have such good wrist action and control though that it doesn't even matter, buts its something that's gonna have to be fixed in the future. I cant figure out how to fix it so...

    Mind blowing. Youth coaches can typically diagnose but it takes a real coach to figure out the treatment through drills. Great stuff! Thank you!

    I would like to thank you for your PVC batting tutorial. I have been playing amateur baseball/softball for more than thirty years, and this is the most effective batting practice method I have ever seen. After practicing for a month, my swing extension has improved significantly, and now my slugging percentage has increased a lot!

    Never seen the PVC drill explained this well...A1. Love the backchain as well to help get an alternate means of having the mind thinking about it.

    Teacherman hitting I think would be a fan. He teaches that snap from the top and more of a Ferris wheel vs rotation. The pvc, I love it. Everyone can perfect the middle middle, it’s when they start crowding the inside because they know you can hit.
    Appreciate this video, helps me help my kids out because too much chopping going on!

    Great drills Coach. You can use the PVC to hit small golf balls off the tee utilizing proper upper body path. The player will not be able to hit the ball off the tee if their upper body isn't taking the proper path.

    So your first tee drill and last tee drill. I'm missing the purpose and difference between the two. If you followed the same path in the second drill as you did in the first, you'd hit the pole. What's the reason for the tighter swing? Expecting off-speed and getting caught with a 4 seam? Or are they used for progressing your swing and they should always be taught in the order shown? Hope that makes sense.
    My son lost some confidence(IMO) going to LL to travel and has been having a hard time getting solid contact again. Felt like more of a mental barrier but now he's changed his swing and is doing some funky stuff. Just trying to sharpen my explanation and drill knowledge so I can help him out. Love the videos guys! Thanks for all the amazing free content!!!

    Seems like the bat path drill with the elbows up to hold the pipe steady would help a little with bat drag since it focuses on the rotation of the core and shoulders.

    Coach I have a question to ask u, if one player from high school gets recruited but not everyone, what would u do, how do u need to be the best player on the field, and how to accomplish the dream to get to the big leagues?

    • @YouGoPro
      @YouGoPro  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Not everyone can play at the next level. If getting a college baseball scholarship was easy, everybody would do it. You have to outwork your competition and at the end of the day, be better than them. I’ve got all the tips on my youtube channel but skills, hard work, and knowledge is what you need to succeed. 👊😉

    True look at golfer John Schelee video the power plane showing Ben Hogan and Joe Morgan the ball can take different planes or paths

  • @johnwilson6319
    @johnwilson6319 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    Yes agree 100 percent but it could help if you looked at Ben Hogan s golf book and you go from approximately shoulder plane to bat plane and do everything you are saying when you get into that rock the elbows into that position look at some golf stuff by Mike Austin and how the back foot and leg works will give your lag position a free ride then as you say your ready to swing drills good but I think if you can visualize Ben Hogan stuff when you step up to the plate you will having a better mental approach once you are facing an actual pitcher I prefer to think of bat plane and ball path swing up the path long in zone as pitched balls are constantly changing planes but bottom line be in a position to put a good swing on the ball or not

    I like this swing doctor guy a lot but that swinging style at the end feels like it has no power behind it. Like, in an effort to prevent casting at all costs, you are moving in a very slow and unnatural choked up manner that doesn't really generate bat speed
