Thanks for visiting Lithuania! The winter garden in the castle in Kretinga is absolutely incredible! I've dined there several times after coming home from Palanga (the sea town) from vacation, and we always try to stop there. I wish you tried to take more 'first person view' footage as you walked around the winter garden. The standing still perspective really doesn't do it justice, you have to visit! I know it's probably not the most strictly "Lithuanian" place to visit, because it features all the exotic plants from other places, but the work put into creating and maintaining it is absolutely wonderful. Visit this place if you can! I hope you visited the lake land around Ignalina, and if you did, I hope you went on a boat cruise around lakes! Nothing can compare with a several day round-trip across several lakes on boats with camping.

We found it to be a very cozy and relaxing place, and that neoclassical style was very unique. Unfortunately, we didn’t get a chance to try the food there, but the museum was very interesting. We made a lot of stops during our trip and some were so fast that capturing the full essence of each place was a big challenge! We did visit Ignalina, and it will be featured in an upcoming episode. The lakes are absolutely stunning, and Lake Galvė around Trakai Castle was especially beautiful. We saw many tours and a lot of kayaking, too! I can’t wait to return to Lithuania and explore even more with fresh pair of eyes! Wishing you a great day! 😊
