Any tournament using this game should put one way switch actuators on the inlanes. Ditto with other games that have this flaw. It's points but it's boring.
Hey! Just got this machine. I have a very silly question about it if you have the time! At 7:08, I see you are able to cradle the ball, as well as in other points of the video. Did you do anything to allow this to work? My machine, as is, will not cradle the ball on the left flipper. It has a moon gravity effect where the ball ALWAYS rolls off no matter what. I've been recommended to check to see if my machine is level or steep enough, as well as to check if the flipper is lined up with the lane correctly. Everything looks to be good level wise, so I figured I'd ask if you did anything special with your flipper. Thanks!
Thanks to everyone for taking time to watch the tutorial, if you have any questions let me know and I will do my best to answer them! Stay tuned for more tutorials and check out the Backhand Pinball TH-cam for additional 4k content of all the tutorials. Thanks, Marc Backhand Pinball
This is a prime example of dark side of tournament pinball. The recommended way to play this game is to not really play it. I get that points are the ultimate goal in pinball, but when it gets distilled down to this, it’s gone way too far. Honestly though, why would anyone ever put this or games like it in a tournament?
How the hell did the designers not figure this out. Then again the average 13 year old kid in 1980 (me) didn't figure it out anyway. And the casual player often doesn't have the stones or skill to alley pass their way to glory. So I'm sure it made money despite the flaw.
I get that you want to get the most points during the game, but man that is a boring way to play. Too me, It takes the fun out if it. I guess I'm just bad at pinball. I just shoot wildly and try to keep the ball in play. Great videos though. I like your tips and camera work.
Happy to see a new PAPA video .. I didnt know if we would see anymore videos
Backhand Pinball is now leading the production, recording and editing of the tutorial videos for PAPA!
@@PAPApinball Awesome thanks for the info!

I completely agree. However, I would play the game as designed.
Do I spy a Williams Time Fantasy in the background?
You do! Just recently restored as well.

You're not going to believe this but I just played this for the first time in a "arcade" 2 weeks ago in Wisconsin! Shout out to Nerdhaven arcade!
What a find!
This is a really clean machine. Yea the Gorgar at my local arcade has 1 way inlane switches to prevent this. Nice playing Bowen, thanks.

Great tutorial! Very well done
Amazing Spider-Man: the pin where the easiest way to win is to not really play.
Great tutorial!
Although i like to get my multipliers from the drop targets, that have a green light in front of them! I am a terrible Shatzer!!
You can play this one at Another Castle games, Edmonds Wa
Beautiful camera work! Can you tell me what brand of new boards are in this machine?
He's back 🙂
More on the way ;)!
Loved getting to see a tutorial on an older EM
not an EM, it's a solid state
Genius. Thanks for the secrets!
Reminds me of Bowen's beatdown of Kings of Steel.
I'd love to own this pin and set it next to a hulk.
I hope you do a Halloween tutorial soon.

just re-write the rules so that A / B need to be qualified each time. That opens the game up to all but the best players
you could really just saw off the top half of this table
not one person made the comment, so i will
ahem.....bowen was trying to get the ball into the number 2 hole but failed.
thank you very much
So this exploit basically ruins the game. Maybe no ally pass allowed for tournament play.
You're crazy!
YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY
