Used to play in these lifts in the 80's when mum and dad were shopping

OMG what the hell happened to the first 2 1/2 minutes??? All the layer timings are all WAY OUT! 2:10 - "I found this document", then it appears 10 seconds later!!! DAMN IT! Normally I'm spot on and check all the way through - missed this one!

Why isnt there a video of car park 1,2 and 3's lifts or is it just one floor parking?

Does the older lift still exist?

You mean the old Otis at 6:24? Sort of, but it doesn’t work any more. The lift is stopped about a meter above the ground floor level. The buttons have been replaced with DDA compliant ones. You can pull the shaft doors open a bit and see the cab. It has been refurbished inside, but I don’t know how much work has been done on the control gear.

Its just so sad to see these old lifts go, insted of repairing them, they replace them.. pitty

It's inevitable though, lack of parts and engineers with the knowledge to fix them means that all old lifts will be replaced in time. It's a shame, but we do have youtube to preserve them! :)

disabled lift only. I dont like that sign. Everyone who wants to ride the lift rather than walking should be allowed to do that. However, the sign looks quite old, maybe they wouldn't place it nowadays.
