I’ll be over you is still One of my favorite, if not my favorite, ballads of all time. The simplicity, with the very soulful vocals is what makes it. Just incredible.

First Wells Fargo show I've been to since ELO a year or so before covid. I really wasn't that familiar with TOTO other than the songs that got radio air time. I was more than pleasantly surprised. These guys put on a great show! All great musicians! Loved the 70's vibe to some of the songs. My only complaint was the new seating Wells installed. Congrats guys, you made an MRI tube more pleasant than your new kiddy seating.
If Toto comes around near you I highly recommend going. Fantastic performers!

I was awe struck by Hold The Line in 1978 and still have the aIbum, also loved Hydra. After that, life got in the way and i only know their biggest hits. Glad I saw Steve in 2018!

I agree..Without exception when a video from a concert is posted on social media the talking that is going on during the performance makes me want to slap the ones responsible
@@ScottAnd I sat next to a very rude attendee at a Steely Dan concert in Las Vegas once, he kept trying to pitch me his real estate investments throughout the concert. He was a complete stranger to me.
Also singing along loudly (out of tune) turning great shows into karaoke nights!
Love toto especially their 80s material. Wish these bands would come up with some 80s sounding material that brought their popularity on the rise in the first place. That’s what many fans would probably like to hear. These guys are a well oiled machine no matter who they have in the band.

Excellent! Looks like Steve shaved his beard he had on for a few years. He looks great! Joseph looks great too with just the goatee instead of the full beard. I know when I shaved my beard just keeping the goatee I looked in the mirror and it was like I was very surprised that I looked 30 years younger seeing my smooth skin underneath that I had not seen in many years..
These guys have the goods, and they definitely have the tunes to blow Journey off the stage. This medley crap and not being organized doesn't cut it. Get your shit together and do it right!

This is the 4th live concert video I have watched in the past 2 weeks ...all different bands and at different venues around the US...and there is ALWAYS one common thread: Women talking in the background through the entire thing!! Don't women EVER shut up? Good grief...

@2v_5r Perhaps drunk men...but it seems as if women, in general, don't have a mouth off-switch to stop and listen to something beautiful or important. Maybe THAT'S why they're paid less...

But it comes down to the FOH engineer in a large arena,
Journey was a wall of noise compared to Toto.
I guess David and Steve are out? Not that this incarnation doesn't sound amazing, because it does, but would love to see a few of the originals.
Also Joseph's voice has drastically improved. Pre covid he was sounding awfully rough. I assume the time off he worked with a coach to strengthen back up, or got nodule surgery.
David is too ill to go on the road......a diabetic. Steve hasn't been with them since the lawsuit.

His voice has sounded like that for years and it doesn't sound that bad to me.

If all the band members dressed like the bass player or lead vocalist, they would look sharp. As it is, most of them look like the road crew. Luke even has to keep hitching up his pants. I know it is a minor point. Just sayin.

I am so sorry fans but I just have to say what i mean. I am still one of the biggest ToTo fans and it hurts when I look at this kind of performance.
Luke and Joe with a bunch of session musician mercenaries. Sigh. Doesn’t more people have a problem with that? “How can we call it Toto if there’s not one Porcaro in the band?” Luke said in 2008. Fast forward to now, and he’s not on speaking terms with Steve Porcaro, the last one alive.

Saying this is a cover band is like saying the Kansas City Chiefs are a cover team because Len Dawson is no longer quarterback. Keep the music going.
Carl Sandstedt A team is a team, it’s supposed to change and have different players, players get old, retire etc. Toto has always been about the brotherhood. Not these random “who are you again?” faces. When you change the drummer, bass player and second keyboardist in a one swoop, people are gonna notice. Not to mention, David Paich was replaced on tour in 2019, so that’s bye bye to a founding member, and an original member in Steve Porcaro in a short period of time. Just ain’t digging the vibe here, chief.
