If you have lost your phone and you have neither transferred your codes to another phone beforehand (as in the gentleman's video), nor asked for recovery codes (or rescue code), then it is impossible for you to recover your lost Google Authenticator codes because Google, like some other competitors, assumes that the QR Code that is scanned during the configuration of Google Authenticator corresponds to a unique key / identifier specific to the device used.
And who says unique identifier, says that for a new device to be configured, you will have to configure a new unique identifier again, therefore a new QR Code.
Thus, Google Authenticator does not have a backup / restore function for accounts that have been set up in it.
Therefore, if you can no longer connect to these different accounts, you must absolutely contact their respective customer services.

Hello, this might come late, but this will help. Go to the website or application and disable or turn off 2FA (Two-factor authentication), they'll request some security questions or codes which you must have provided prior to setting it up. After disabling, enable it again on the new phone if you want and you'll get it back.

I recently moved all of my info onto a new phone and wiped my old one clean not knowing Google Authenticator doesn't carry over without a QR code. Now my phone basically has a new account for Google Authenticator which prevents me from logging in to multiple accounts. Does anyone have a fix for this? Is there any way I can recover my old account. I tried looking for a solution online, but found nothing. Google also doesn't seem to want to be contacted. I tried the option in the video, but the only Google Authenticator account attached to my Gmail is the the one that was newly made on my current phone.

How to recover from this situation?? I change my phhone, old phone (with microsoft authenticator app) is factory restored, and now on my new phone I can't accses to my microsoft account and authenticator app. When I go to recover they ask for code from my phone number and that's pass ok, but second is confirmation in authenticator app... how to CONFIRM that shit when I don't have accses and I'm there to restart that shit... they are asking me to confirm something, which is why I came here to reset... Its impossible to get your 2fa back, you need to contact support for each app you've lost access too

This solve nothing because you cant sign in to other apps accounts because they will request for your 2FA before you use them on a new device.

This doesnt work, I have accounts signed in from my previous phone but I'm unable to log into those now without the Authenticator. I wanted to import my old saved codes to my phone but my Google account on desktop doesnt have these saved, and only links my Google. I'm unable to log into any other 2FA accounts.
