I haven’t watched your channel in almost a year (on kind of an internet hiatus), and shortly after I got back online I figured I’d check out the status on Jordan’s Trans Am (I LOVE the third gens). And damn, Jordan sure grew up! As soon as I saw him with the glasses and all, I was absolutely amazed. Can’t believe all the work you’ve put into the car as well. Last time I saw it, it was getting a new motor and a paint job (no offense, but I like the red/grey a little better). Hope you’re all doing well. I’ll try to stay tuned in!
Looks like it runs great! Theres a midnight madness coming up at gateway if you guys are interested. Only issue is you may only get to run 2 or 3 times and the prep probably isn't the greatest. Considered taking my 89' Trans Am down there
aweshome, it moves right on out well. you need a coil spring drag bags on rear like the mustangs use. you can see it sink on the right side pretty good its not too bad its real good how the car is leaving and your throttle control how it rolls out then hits power band car is quick and fast good.
I'm sure the rear suspension will evolve more over time. Right now it has lakewood drag shocks and boxed lower control arms, but it still has the factory torque arm setup.
Nice Pull! I've been watching the build on this for a while now and I just noticed the headlights. It looks to be an aftermarket kit if so where did you find it im looking for light kits for my Trans Am right now.

How come he doesnt lock the converter up on launch. Damn thing would prolly wheelie😂 or cut a better 60ft. Next year you guys should come to cordova or byron. I got an 86 trans am. Similar set up to jordans.

It seems that it was an ignition issue. Jordan replaced the cap, rotor, coil, and module. It revs a lot better now. We think it was a bit down on power at the drag strip on the top end too. We expected it too trap closer to 98 mph in the eighth. Jordan will get i all sorted a bit better over time. Thanks for the link my friend, appreciate it. We love the old school drag strips like that.
What does it run on motor? I think on motor it may be a good race with my 4th gen Camaro. Haven’t been to Bonne Terre but I’ve been to gateway a few times

It's a Borg Warner 9 bolt out of an '89 Turbo Trans Am. Just rebuilt with a set of 3.70 gears.
