Glory be to God for allowing Nehemiah for the courage to embrace his faith to rebuild the Temple and bring all of God's children whom were taken and displaced for believing and worshipping our Heavenly Father God from exile. wow, Reading Nehemiah, I wanted to know what the walls looked like because during the dedication to the walls the bible says they were on top of the wall. Wanted to know what that looked like.
the "Old City walls" were built around the 1500's and had nothing to do with Nehemiah.....how can you be so wrong...??? Nehemiah rebuilt the walls of the CITY OF DAVID, not "old Jerusalem" which never existed until the 1500's.
@@toddkallenbach3904 the reason why there have beeb many hills called zion, is because zion is a holy name uses by Jews and Hebrews to refer to high places, the temple mount moriah for example is sometimes called zion same with jerusalem as a whole, when David conquered the original hill called zion he built his city on it, so the city of David built on hill is the original first zion, it was called zion before David even conquered it.

What your saying isn't exactly right, the city of david itself was on Mount zion there were walls that extended past this
