What a great video! I’m so glad you had such a great weekend with a girlfriend and that we get to share in your experience. The train views were beautiful and the scenery of the river views in Perth were fabulous. I could have stood on that bridge for ages, gazing at the flowing water. Tea and scones, silver tea pots, the most colourful toilets I have ever seen, museums, walks and of course wool! I don’t think there was anything you could have added to make it better. I’m glad Margaret let you take her picture. I see your mum left a comment that she enjoyed the video too. High praise indeed 😊.

What a wonderful trip! I love the train culture of your part of the world. We have nothing like it in the US. I enjoyed seeing all of the yarn purchases, and those plates were so sweet. I think my favorite parts were the river walks, the tea breaks, and of course, the art museums. (including the restroom 😂) The streets were so peaceful. At first I thought I must have been Sunday when you arrived. So glad you and your friend had a fun time. ❤

What a refreshing holiday you took us all on. You would make a very good tour guide ,as you edit all those information boards / signs in places of history and interest , and serve it up to us as deliciously as one of your morning teas. When you passed over the bridge into Berwick on Tweed I waved, as it is our town’s sister city in Berwick, Victoria, Australia . 😊

I grew up in Perth 😊 really enjoyed seeing the City Hall where we used to perform our school concerts, and St John's Kirk where I learned to play the organ!
A lovely trip to the city of Perth for a woolly weekend , I remember going there a good few years ago and found it a very interesting place to visit .all that yarn it must have been difficult to choose but you made some lovely choices and I look forward to seeing them completed in the not to distant future , your friend chose Lammermuir yarn that took me back to spending a New Years Eve up on the Lammermuir hills with my husband and sister to watch the fire works over Edinburgh , it was thick with snow and we cheered the new year in with our hot chocolate . I so enjoy your travel videos. Perth seems a lovely place to visit! I must tell you: I roll my eyes at the title "Influencer" but admit that you influenced me to send away for the Mindfulness Piano Collection and the pattern for the Emotional Support Chicken! Am enjoying the music, especially because my sight reading is so poor. The chicken will be a memorial chicken for a beautiful hen I cared for last week. Won't go into that story.😢🐓

What a great weekend trip! Perth looked like it had lots to offer. The wool show was nice, what a great opportunity to support small farms and businesses. Yes, I would have picked a tweed bag, too😍. You had splendid weather for your walk, and a nice trail to follow. I really liked the museum, having the kids write responses was brilliant. Kids can have such a different take on things like that. And why not have fabulous art in a bathroom, that's awesome! Thanks for sharing your mini holiday in Perth. I am hoping my friend comes for a visit this summer so we can hit some local second hand shops, always treasure to be found.😉 and more fun with a friend🤗 See you next week.

My place of birth. Lovely video. It’s a lovely city, but like many it’s seen better days. It was buzzing with life in the 90’s & early 2000s. It had a beautiful department store called McEwens. It opened in 1868 but sadly closed in 2006.

Thank you! The maker is called Kalokshekellen - and although she has an Etsy shop, she doesn't seem to be active there at the moment, so I'm guessing that she mainly does yarn and craft fairs.
What a wonderful woolly weekend ! This is another video to watch over again. Helen, what you say about looking at the merits of a new place for oneself is so true. The sculptures and art installations, not to mention the toilet interiors.... wow! It is so lovely that you have such a friend and can meet roughly midway as you do. The wool was exquisite and how creatively displayed. The student comments on artworks really show how curious those young minds are. Perth has to be a place my husband and I visit when we have opportunity if only for the fact that we have a Perth in Western Australia and one in Tasmania too.... you and Margaret have mapped out our itinerary. Do return in September... there's more to see of Perth, for sure.💌🦉🐭💐🫖☕

A lovely trip to the city of Perth for a woolly weekend , I remember going there a good few years ago and found it a very interesting place to visit .all that yarn it must have been difficult to choose but you made some lovely choices and I look forward to seeing them completed in the not to distant future , your friend chose Lammermuir yarn that took me back to spending a New Years Eve up on the Lammermuir hills with my husband and sister to watch the fire works over Edinburgh , it was thick with snow and we cheered the new year in with our hot chocolate . I so enjoy your travel videos. Perth seems a lovely place to visit! I must tell you: I roll my eyes at the title "Influencer" but admit that you influenced me to send away for the Mindfulness Piano Collection and the pattern for the Emotional Support Chicken! Am enjoying the music, especially because my sight reading is so poor. The chicken will be a memorial chicken for a beautiful hen I cared for last week. Won't go into that story.😢🐓

What a great weekend trip! Perth looked like it had lots to offer. The wool show was nice, what a great opportunity to support small farms and businesses. Yes, I would have picked a tweed bag, too😍. You had splendid weather for your walk, and a nice trail to follow. I really liked the museum, having the kids write responses was brilliant. Kids can have such a different take on things like that. And why not have fabulous art in a bathroom, that's awesome!

My place of birth. Lovely video. It’s a lovely city, but like many it’s seen better days. It was buzzing with life in the 90’s & early 2000s. It had a beautiful department store called McEwens. It opened in 1868 but sadly closed in 2006.

What a wonderful woolly weekend ! This is another video to watch over again. Helen, what you say about looking at the merits of a new place for oneself is so true. The sculptures and art installations, not to mention the toilet interiors.... wow! It is so lovely that you have such a friend and can meet roughly midway as you do. The wool was exquisite and how creatively displayed. The student comments on artworks really show how curious those young minds are. Perth has to be a place my husband and I visit when we have opportunity if only for the fact that we have a Perth in Western Australia and one in Tasmania too.... you and Margaret have mapped out our itinerary. Do return in September... there's more to see of Perth, for sure.💌🦉🐭💐🫖☕
