My wife is the best thing to ever happen to me, She is my everything. I miss her so much I am stationed over in Korea for another 10 months. The hardest thing is I'm going to miss the birth of our first child our perfect little girl Madeline. She is the strongest women I have ever met because it is no easy task to do this by yourself but she is doing an amazing job. She is my "It" I want to give her the world and provide the best life for my family, I just wish it wasn't from so far away but everything I do is for those two amazing beautiful girls. Listening from the other side of the world in Taiwan…… love this song and it’s one of my favorites as a 54 year old.
My husband proposed to me on the same cliff on August 12, 2019 we got married one year later. ❤️ if anyone is interested the cliff is on a mountain in NC called Pickensnose. The drive up to the trail is beautiful, there are raspberry bushes and black berry bushes on either side of the road and once you get to the actual trail the cliff is on the right side towards the end of the hike you’ll see a tiny trail leading to the cliff. I can only recommend going in August if you’re into berry picking and fall colors. ❤️

April, I lived in Garner, NC. At that time Scotty was a bag boy in Loew's Supermarket. It was not the appliance store. Gabi worked in the gym as an assistant. I knew she would become a nurse. One day I was walking around the track and got hit by a ball. She ran to my assistance. I asked her her name and she said Gabi (pronounced Gibbi). When Scotty won Idol, his mother made him go into the store and give the manager two week's notice. She said you never know when you will need another job. Great family.

My step dad proposed to my mom with this song while we were in Lake Tahoe. We were on a mountain snowmobiling and we had a great view of the lake. He asked me if he could propose to my mom. He handed me a ring with three real amythists and two small real diamonds. He then got down on one knee and asked her to marry him. She said yes. He then handed her a ring with a 3 karrot diamond and two 2.5 karrot diamonds. It also has several small ones. The ring had two twists just like mine. This song is very special to us now and it makes me cry.
