Buy the vehicle as per your choice and usage.. if you are buying a vehicle for family use where you have elderly parents too please go for XUV 700 its a nice practical family car..Dnt buy Scorpio N bcz its egress and ingress will become a problem for them. I had just driven this suv for more than 800km in 2 days, below are my observations A) This vehicle feels like you are in boat there is so much wobbling, people sitting in the third row had some serious Jiggles B) People in the third row were complaining of the lack of cooling C) Seems like clutch pedal was rubbing against some metal and was not light 4) Multiple software glitch especially parring of mobile

I am xuv500 owner planning to upgrade to Scorpio n. My usage is 50% highway, 25% rural and 25 city. And have elder parents who occupy mid seat only on long away run. Hence I am concerned about stability and body roll
The bigger concern is to climb in and out of ScorpioN seats as its a ladder on frame and the seats are set much higher than XUV. Why don't you consider XUV700? The best way is to visit dealer with your parents and have them experience rear seats while test driving both back to back.

You mentioned within 20lkhs so Safari is out of question, ScorpioN isn't a city car either. Xuv700 ax5 or Seltos are fine but you won't get a lot of power in Seltos non turbo model. I would ask you to check Hyryder Hybrid variant also. For a long life and incredible fuel economy, you'll save a lot of money in the long run

Most of those brands dont have such proper rwd SUVs as well. I actually showed the difference in efficiency which clearly indicates if you drive daily then diesel is better, if you plan to use it occasionally then diesel won't off-set the cost so petrol is better

Yup, generally ladder frame SUVs don't have as many features as crossovers. Also, 4x4 or 2 totally depends on how you plan to use. If you plan to go spiti or alike hilly areas and want to wonder in random areas then 4X4 otherwise Rwd is more than capable

Frankly, both arent super comfortable for rear passengers but they both are Mighty , built on same platform & have same engines. Now it boils down to those 2 extra seats and which appeals you more. Roxx has more presence in my opinion.

1300/yr? Petrol automatic should be your choice. See which car is giving your desired features in your budget and go for it. In long term, Koreans/japanese have least maintenance then comes Indian then German brands

Although they both are big and built well but one is rugged, more Powerful, almost utilitarian in feel and other is soft, feature loaded and luxurious inside. Ask yourself and your family what flavour of interiors they like. They are poles apart sitting inside

Its not going to be banned right away. If your running is low (less than 1500km/month) buy the petrol. If it's high then diesel is the way to go for heavy vehicles

I have test driven Safari, XUV 700, Scorpio N and I am bit confused between Safari and Scorpio N.(Not considered XUV 700 as it has suspension noise, as complained by existing owners) I know both vehicles are completely different.But I like the road presence of Scorpio N and it's being value for money on the other hand Safari has lot better interiors but bit overpriced. Please suggest which vehicle to go for. It would be a great help.
You should Join safari/Harrier group and see many new owners are facing issues with facelift so if you can wait for 6 months and see if the cars get better in reliability then opt for Safari, it is better as a family car provided it runs without so many issues. If right now, then ScorpioN is more reliable in my research. Yours can be different

Bhai It's a well known fact that light colors are less maintenance compared to high maintenance dark ones. You can go for deep forest if you can keep it clean every now and then! 🤷🏻♂️

Although they both are big and built well but one is rugged, more Powerful, almost utilitarian in feel and other is soft, feature loaded and luxurious inside. Ask yourself and your family what flavour of interiors they like. They are poles apart sitting inside

I am planning for scorpio N z4....I am comfused between petrol or diesel...in petrol mileage is less and for diesel it has restrictions in some cities for pullution and after few years diesel can be banned.
Its not going to be banned right away. If your running is low (less than 1500km/month) buy the petrol. If it's high then diesel is the way to go for heavy vehicles

Planning to buy new Suv with budget of Rs 25 lacs +-2 lacs.
I have test driven Safari, XUV 700, Scorpio N and I am bit confused between Safari and Scorpio N.(Not considered XUV 700 as it has suspension noise, as complained by existing owners)
I know both vehicles are completely different.But I like the road presence of Scorpio N and it's being value for money on the other hand Safari has lot better interiors but bit overpriced.
Please suggest which vehicle to go for.

I found Safari better in driving too, of course interiors are better. Price is a bit deal breaker. If in same budget I would choose safari any day.
You should Join safari/Harrier group and see many new owners are facing issues with facelift so if you can wait for 6 months and see if the cars get better in reliability then opt for Safari, it is better as a family car provided it runs without so many issues. If right now, then ScorpioN is more reliable in my research. Yours can be different
Yaar aapne colour ke baare main kutch bola nehi. I am also buying the same variant. it is said that white and silver are less maintenance colours. What is your say on this. My family likes Deep Forest.
Bhai It's a well known fact that light colors are less maintenance compared to high maintenance dark ones. You can go for deep forest if you can keep it clean every now and then! 🤷🏻♂️

Bhai 7 log bithane hi hain to alag baat hai lekin as a 5 seater, N is better. Baki classis isn't nice for highways. Agar aap around 80 chalte ho ya mostly uske neeche to lelo Classic

A knowledgeable car guy can't ever give you a simple short answer before knowing your needs and style of driving. They all are fine cars, Harrier Safari are almost the same but scorpioN sits in different segment. Compare Harrier with XUV700 actually.
Hi, I need your suggestion to choose a variant between Z2 and Z2 ESP. I have stretched my budget, earlier planned to buy a Kia Carens but looking at the safety rating now made my mind to go for a Scorpio N Z2. Want to know how practical it is to have ESP and whether it is worth spending 50K more as I'm already tight on the budget. I live in Pune-Mumbai, love to do road trips, drive below 90kmph, newly driver for such SUVs.
