Fusion Compiler is broken on a full pen build with Rina on the team (86%). It rivals her signature if you don't skill dash cancel to stack the weapon passive (pen ratio is more effective the more you stack). If you do skill dash cancel, it's at least on par in a Jane/Seth/Rina team.
I really wanted a place to put my Rina after getting her early on standard, but I can already tell that I'm going to hate playing the Jane/Seth/Rina team so it looks like Lucy stonks are on the rise yet again

For teams when using Jane and Seth, it feels like the third character is entirely meant to be used strictly in chain attacks. That being said I think Nicole is perfect for that, lowering defense even for just the front loaded damage (thats when you'd ultimate anyway, and her bonus passive doesnt matter to her in this team.) You can play Jane with a stun unit (and her best team is the police brutality team lmao) but her signature and the fact she has an extra dodge and gets passion from dodge attacks and counters heavily emphasizes an onfield no stunner play-style, instead reacting with perfect dodges to get into, stay in, and benefit from the passion state. That's my overall take anyway.
Don't understand the Qing yi rec, why not run Jane Seth and Lucy. Way less field time of someone not doing damage. Able to get more dodges to fill the bar
f2p player here, I got Seth twice and Jane once in twenty rolls. Now I can just worry about their w-engines because the substitutes for them are less than stellar.

Maybe it's because mine is M2S1, but I cannot for the life of me make Qingyi or Grace as a third (with Jane + Seth) do more dps than just Jane + Seth. I don't have Rina, and I don't have Lucy built, but it seems like Jane + Seth is EXACTLY as good as adding Grace or Qingyi, no matter how well I quickswap. Tested mostly on Shiyu 7-1 and the Butcher weekly mat boss. So... yeah... Seth + Jane + who even cares. Maybe in the future we'll have someone worth slotting in, but for now, not so much.
You missed out one of the best teams for her: Jane Nekomata Seth. You just hyper buff Nekomata + can on field with Jane most of the time for crazy assault and crit damage. Also gives the bonus of being able to easily clear non assaultable entities.

Now I think it’s time to say goodbye to Anton and rotate my 2 teams between: Grace Jane Sett Lucy Koleda Piper Now the second thing i’m bugged is how should I make my team? Should I: Team 1: Jane Sett Grace Team 2: Piper Koleda Lucy or Team 1: Jane Sett Lucy Team: 2 Piper Grace Koleda Or I can take a better opinion from a better player. I just need to know the best teams I can do with ANTON ANBY GRACE JANE SETT LUCY KOLEDA PIPER.
Honestly, while Jane was incredibly fun to play in her story segments, I've already invested heavily into my Piper and would feel pretty bad if I had to bench her outright because the rat came home. I'm sitting on a 50/50 after Qingyi and very much want a Seth (or two or three) so I'll toss a few tens in and see how it goes. Hope everybody else's pulls go well!
My piper is well imvested in as well, but let me tell ya that the rat mommy puts piper to complete shame in raw damage output, shyiu defense is a joke with jane, clears on a 1st try with no trouble, well worth it!

Fusion Compiler is okay, but given how R5 gemini is certainly achievable and especially if you play Jane in a disorder team where grace would want her weapon moreso than Jane does, Fusion Compiler looks lackluster given it is an S-Rank. If you already have Fusion Compiler leveled and do not play Grace in the same Shiyu Node, it is a fine choice. I personally just wouldnt level Fusion Compiler instead of i.e. Gemini specifically for Jane, as getting an R5 Gemini is easier than an R3 Compiler (especially looking at F2P) for about the same performance but with less taking care of keeping the buff up.
Need a team without seth and without lucy... (The games hate me, I lost my 50/50, and even tho I went up to 79 pity again to get Jane, I still don't have Seth ☹️☹️)
Works perfectly fine for me, anby doesn't get a whole lot of field time but i swap her in every now and then for her EX with electric buildup or to push through the last bit of stunbar.
c2 is more dmg but r1 is only a bit behind for much smoother gameplay imho (have to take less care about when which weapon passive is active and when to allocate buffs).
I disagree on limited teams. If we compare it to other DPS she's vastly more flexible if not the most flexible DPS right now in terms of team. Zhu yuan wants nicole and Ellen wants Soukaku. With Jane the damage difference between each team doesn't seem as big as say, Zhu yuan not using Qingyi or nicole or Ellen not using Lyacon or Soukaku. If you mean "limited teams" as not having a clear best in slot, then yeah but again, isnt that a pro instead of a cons? Anyway Great video as always

Personally I compared which teams felt the most viable to me and needing 2-3 S-Rank units for the best teams felt pretty limiting to me, while also all her teams are not bringing justice to her true potential at the same time. Hi Rivenous, you and Nakfrg. are the two content creators I go to for my character reviews/guides and funnily enough you both didn't test each others highest rated teams (he didn't test Jane, Seth & Qingyi, whereas you didn't test Jane, Seth & Lucy). How do you think a Jane, Seth & Lucy team would stack up against the teams you tested (assuming you haven't already tested it)?
I did test it, it's a strong hypercarry team. Idk why I didnt list it tbh. Maybe cause I personally prefered the stunner variations, though that shouldnt be an excuse to not list it.

Nak did practical testing mostly and it seems the constant switchs Rina requires are more unwieldy than they're worth. Jane's best partners (like you mentioned) seem to be Qingyi, Seth & Lucy in that order.

From what i have seen so far, from different cc’s and their own calcs. Jane disorder team with either Graace Seth or Grace Koleda is on par with the hypercarry Jane. Almost all calcs ive seen have varying clear time by around 5-10sec where sometimes the disorder came on top or the hypercarry edges it.(really depends on the rotation of the user but its weird to say Disorder teams are far behind.
Minor correction, which I learned the hard way - C1 allows you to stack an extra charge attack use which are retained between passion states, but it doesnt actually GIVE you the extra charge attack use. If you're playing well, it probably won't extend your passion state most of the time. Best it might do is allow you to stack one extra to save for a boss.
Yeah, I got her M1 yesterday and was quite confused about it, I even thought it was bugged. Took me some time to realize that. It can be useful in some scenarios, but if you are constantly dodging, you almost never leaves the passion state
God i hate farming stats for disk drives....Only thing i hate about this game is horrid drop rates on disk drives. Been farming for like 3-4 days not one main stat anomaly proficiency or main stat anomaly mastery.
So in testing I haven't found ATK% to be significantly behind AM. My stats right now due to dogshit RNG on AM pieces are AM 192/ATK 2572/AP 389 vs AM 148/ATK 2882/AP 407. I tested how fast I could kill the mech boss on the new Shiyu 5, and after a few runs with each, I'm getting within 4-5s of each other. I have noticed that with smaller enemies, ATK% will usually just outright kill them, while AM sometimes risked leaving them with a small amount of HP left. Either way, I'm going to keep fishing for an AM piece with AP+ATK% and hopefully it solidifies itself as a clear winner.
The reason AM wins are extended figths. For short fights you are right. But due to Assault having the highest "anomaly HP" it also scales to the highest over time.
I got super lucky on the banners, got jane on the 1st multi then seth on the next multi, then her weapon on 3rd multi on the weapon banner, didnt even used my polychromes just the master tapes
Yeah rat mommy and her weapon was super lucky for me as well, mine is c2s2, won 3 50/50s in a row, 1st one took 50 2nd 30 and 3rd 10, her weapon dropped 2 in the same 10 pull, that took 40, soo cant complain
both aint great, but flat atk at least scales with combat atk%. Flat Pen can be better, but that is mostly when you are able to stack a lot of pen ratio.
I'm outperforming with def pen% on disc 5 vs similar sub physical%/atk% Teammates are lycaon and soukako (just used my ellen team for jane for the time being) I'm just testing this on nineveh, maybe that's why def pen it's doing better?
That happened to me too. Got Lyceon on my way to C2 Jane but an double SRank pull at 10-20 pity made up for it. Now I'm grinding like mad to get her weapon after losing the 75/25
Yep I'm pulling for Jane and going to run the Jane, Seth, Grace team. I'll try both Jane and Grace with 4pc anomaly sets, but might swap Jane to 4pc physical set. I'll probably revisit this guide and others once I actually get the rolls done and try them for a bit. Right now content creators are hesitant to compare A rank agents at M6 to S rank agents at M0 since it's still early on in the game's life but given that there are only two A ranks on each banner getting M6 Seth by just going for M0 Jane isn't that rare. M6 Seth will of course do a lot better than M0 Seth and that's what most CC players have been comparing teams with.
4 set physical all day, she triggers assult soo damn fast it would b a complete waste, besides the fact she triggers is soo quick means ull always have that 35% damage buff, its a no brainer, atleast for jane, dont have grace myself soo she might make a better use of 4p anomaly

why flat atk better than pen i thought flat was trash

Teammates are lycaon and soukako (just used my ellen team for jane for the time being)

Feels bad losing to Lycaon instead to Grace. Now I run Jane Seth and Rina until I get my 300th pull on Stable channel.
That happened to me too. Got Lyceon on my way to C2 Jane but an double SRank pull at 10-20 pity made up for it. Now I'm grinding like mad to get her weapon after losing the 75/25

Yep I'm pulling for Jane and going to run the Jane, Seth, Grace team. I'll try both Jane and Grace with 4pc anomaly sets, but might swap Jane to 4pc physical set. I'll probably revisit this guide and others once I actually get the rolls done and try them for a bit. Right now content creators are hesitant to compare A rank agents at M6 to S rank agents at M0 since it's still early on in the game's life but given that there are only two A ranks on each banner getting M6 Seth by just going for M0 Jane isn't that rare. M6 Seth will of course do a lot better than M0 Seth and that's what most CC players have been comparing teams with.
4 set physical all day, she triggers assult soo damn fast it would b a complete waste, besides the fact she triggers is soo quick means ull always have that 35% damage buff, its a no brainer, atleast for jane, dont have grace myself soo she might make a better use of 4p anomaly
