I’m trying to make this deck gotten 3 shinobu’s and a gin fox girl, and I still only have 1 pudding girl and 1 shuten doji. Lol I’m having an easier time getting legendaries then the freakin golds lol.
shadows heavy stormers require the opponent to have a board e.g 9 tailed fox pudding . Just ramp valdane , clear the higher attack minions and play little to no followers and they just lose .
I opened my first legendary at the 31th pack, so don’t feel too bad at your opening. (With 200k dust it is not a big problem though.) What decks have you tried out? Our guild is less interactive for the last past months, maybe sharing some replays or decklists will rekindle it? Also wish you all a happy new year!
Runecraft and shadowcraft are the most common ones I see now. I saw a shadowcraft use something to sacrifice Ginetsu on turn 5, then they played Lara Soul taker and then they played the 0 cost Ginetsu they just got back. Full board full of wards.
I like to play the colosseum with this deck as It give continue +2/+2 to the storms and It often gave me the possibility to win 1/2 turns earlier wich Is really important as spellboost rune get lethal really early
Man, Bazooka Goblin is a great card, I just wish it existed a lot sooner. We're 15 expansions in now and we're only just getting a card that is finally able to target ambush followers? However, I'm sad Bazooka Goblin is so damn niche at this point in Shadowverse's life. Currently it's only good going up against Ambush Sword and nothing else atm. You can have much better 2 drops or other cards in their position that it's not worth running them for the whatever chance you run into a swordcraft and then the swordcraft is playing ambush. It's a dead card in any other match up for the most part.
At around 15:40 you could kasha first and don’t play eternal vow. You can reduce the cost of more cards that way and also see if you draw something better to play than ceres. You happened to draw shuten doji with 9 shadows meaning you could recover an evo point and evolve it to kill viridia magna and attack for game.

Since I don't have Legendary Skeleton, I replace it with Thoth and Ghoul for more draws (In most cases, the Ghoul ended up being the 1pp spell fodder). That first match is surely rough. Never facing one before, but as far as I know, the only counter shadow have for that situation is the 3pp follower that destroy random enemy follower. Edit: Apparently, Fatal Fields is currently not rotating out yet, so yeah it could counter Leod as well.
@@Nature_Consciousness Bazooka Goblin, while it's good to counter T2 Leod, it also weakens your deck consistency against any other decks. In my case, I won 15 times in a row using Ginsetsu, before losing to Ambush Sword, meaning that Bazooka Goblin is unnecessary for now because Ambush Sword is still rare in this meta, at least in my experience.

Shiva's value, in the long run, is undeniably good, while Fafnir is basically a panic button so that when given enough shadow, it can remove buffed Saintly Leader and it's pesky Ward followers. Yeah, I'm considering putting each one of them in my deck for the experiment. It might affect the deck consistency, but we'll see.
Well everyones first day in the new expansion is great, but then you hit that realization of Spellboost Rune ft. Kuon in +80% of your match ups. And yes its such a coin flip against Ambush Sword XD or play Ward Haven? Happy New Year from Australia
too niche and after leod is buffed / evoed, goblin card can't really accomplish anything. it will work on curve but how often you draw goblin on curve while matched with swordcraft that use leod on curve? (with ladder crowded with rune). it works but very rarely
Mmm I've been running my list without Shinobu, Sora, and Dawn's Splendor (also Legendary Skeleton because I don't have enough for him).. using Corpselord Fafnir, Bazooka Goblin, Mechasaw Deathbringer+Guilt to mess up Sword.. and 1 copy of Thoth for ultra late game
At around 8:20 you should have evolved a ward so he ckuldnt kill all of them cause it can only do 10 damage max. Or you should have continued with your eternal vow then ginstestu play cause you would lose anyway if he had dual blade but won if not.
It's not so good if opponent didn't want to play anything when your kagemitsu died last turn,the most OP swordcraft card for this format is petalwink paladin,alot of player can't keep up with its boost
This deck maybe expensive but if you really want to build it am sure you can get there. Also the spell boost rune deck has only 1 legendary try looking at that too as something to play this expansion

New year started great. Just had another 10 packs from the 1000 free rupies and got 4 legendaries. Hope you have great pulls this year too.

I know for Dragon, if I'm going second, I have an answer in Genesis dragon accelerate (sniped two Leods once, felt good - easy game after that)

My 20 or so losses to Kuon (and Riley) as shadow say otherwise.
dude i beat kuon all day and night with my shadow, but i still have trouble with the riley matcup.
