I bought something very similar and wasn't happy with it. Skirt radials kept falling out and it didn't go down to 70mhz like they claimed... the dimensions weren't big enough. So I've redesigned it, bought better hardware and am using aluminum sheet to make a bigger top disc as well as solid 6mm aluminum rod to make 8 longer radials. It'll work properly when I'm done with it 😅 Got the design information out of the 1974 ARRL antenna book. Thanks for the video, the analyser gave a lot of interesting information.
This antenna lacks a vertical whip on the top which would allow it to reach down to 25MHz, like the Diamond D3000N which does have one. Based on the cost it looks like a great value.

My No Brand " original" Discone has a vertical whip. Just for joke i put a longer whip that seems to work better
Would you prefer metal or pvc?
No ground?
