The frame isn't a solid, milled aluminum skeleton. The frame is completely seperate from the rails and the rails are just cast pot metal. The blowback unit isn't milled either, no parts on this replica are milled.
regarding marui's 1911 lineup, do they all share the same internals? or has marui been quietly modifying them in each release like what they do with their glocks? thanks
Hi there, tm have made several major updates over the years. The last 1911 update was around the m45a1. They increased the piston head, slide support, and magazines
New suscriber here, good stuff. I just purchase a HiCapa DOR, seen your other review too, and have a doubt. All the slide of this M45A1 is directly interchangeable on a DOR?
Hi there, the m45a1 lower from marui will work with the D.O.R. slide, no problem, but not the other way around. They both have the same hop system. Hope that helps.
@@no__name3747 from my own experience i cleared the full 28 rounds no problem and over half the second fill of bbs. that's firing normally under pressure, with a mix of double taps and triple ones too. one thing to be clear is that the mags i use are the newer M45A1 mags as they hold the 28 rounds and a bit more gas.
The tm usp series are awsome and run great on the lower power gas with a strong snappy kick, the main issue is with there tm mags they leak quite a bit unless you replace the o rings in the base. For me I'd get the vfc g45 or the kwa usp. I will get a video done of the tm usp as soon as I get access to one.
If you can find one the umarex usp-c tactical is great there's one from kwa and one from vfc, as for the mp5k there's only one for me, the vfc gen 2 pdw gbbr it really has no equal 😀
Hi there, there are 2 mp5k's from vfc the Navy and the pdw, the navy dose not have a threaded tri-lug muzzle or stock only a sling loop at the rear they both have gen2 internals and cost similar prices.
Hi there with the m45a1 1911 yes very much so as tm have improved the piston size and beefed up the internals to cope. I have used green gas exclusive since I had it and no issues my friend but don't with the old night warrior versions.
@@famrush8717 it should be ok but i would look at where you are, if your in the uk then 100% yes as its cold most of the year. i do know the m45a1 really needs green gas as running 134a is just not enough to clear the mag. that is due to there new large piston head design and redesigned mags.
thanks it means a lot!!!! the only extra advice i can give is to just keep an eye on it in the really hot weeks of summer. you will feel the difference and then the one bottle of 134a or nuprol 1 will cover you during that time.
Hi there, the slide is polymer and has handled green gas no problem over the last year of use. There are metal slide kits out there should you wish to upgrade. The stock internals are amazing for a 1911, from the 28rnd mags to the new blowback system. All the internals are metal but the slide has to be polymer due to Japanese laws.

Yet another great video and a nice pistol
Nice video! Will you consider doing a video on the tokyo marui m9a1 gbb anytime in the future?

@@MiddleAgeGameruk sure, is something thanks. If I understand well the slide stop of M45A1 will work on DOR slide isnt it?
how is the gas efficency with the small mag? Worst case I can just get the extended mags and its a hi capa killer!
Hi there, the m45a1 has a 28 round mag and clears it no problem, total round count is 42 on green gas
@@MiddleAgeGameruk Even if fired rapidly?

@@no__name3747 before deciding what size mags to get id try the gun out, do so drills and see which mag size suits you.
*some drills*
My only problem is lack of a orange tip I ain't tryna get shot by police
What about the tm usp series? Do you recommend over a vfc g19

Is it safe to use green gas in tm 1911’s with polymer slides?
