    Thanks, will it damage the battery if I normally just plugging it? I mean in the house stationary. Should I take it out to avoid overcharging it? Thanks

    If the unit is not used for a while, how often should you charge the battery? I know lead acid batteries will just die after awhile. How about lithium batteries?

    Hi,
    I was wondering if you could answer a question for me. I have the Bose S1 and I agree it's an amazing speaker, here's my question though, I was doing a gig today and had it plugged into the mains, but after a few hours it started to loose power, a decrease in volume, luckily I was just finishing my gig, but I thought if you were plugged into the mains it would always be 100% ?...I also use an i pad for backing, any advise would be welcome, many thanks
    Andy

      Jirehsupplies Thanks for the reply. Does this mean that I can have two batteries and use it for 12 hours? The Bose rep on the other videos keep on stating “the battery will be permanent”. I wonder what did he mean by this? Thanks again.

    • @saardean4481
      @saardean4481 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      if you just watch the video you will see that apart from the unbelievably complicated and slow way of inserting a battery you will also have to "awaken" the battery from sleep mode using a mains power connection (as in 110v-220v depending on which country you live in) which you will of course have with you when you are outdoors in order to "awaken" the battery..... I wonder who designed the whole concept. Genius!!! :-) If only you "awaken" the force within the battery. "Awaken" .... reminds me of a movie..... i could say it all night....."awaken my dear battery ...... awaken....."

    • @inviktus1018
      @inviktus1018 6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Saar Dean I know about the slow process of waking up the battery but this video states “shipped in a sleep mode from the factory”. About the question I had, I am assuming that I have waken up “both” the batteries up already prior. Or are you saying every time I remove the battery, the battery goes to sleep mode again and has to go through the “waking up” process again every time you install it? You may know more.

    • @saardean4481
      @saardean4481 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      i really don`t know. I just found funny the fact that if i buy this and want it portable, i have to "initiate" a battery.... Now imagine if you buy a smartphone and if you want to use it for the first time , you would HAVE TO connect it to the power mains ..... Do you find this practical or even logical? I suppose (without being sure) that you have ti initialise the battery once. But even if it is so, it`s such a mess to change the battery. Screwing undscrewing. So if you throw an outdoor spontaneous party imagine being at the peak of the fun and you have to change batteries..... ouch.... I just find it half way thought through. The best way is the way is the way they "refuel" electric scooters. Watch this and you will know what efficiency is and why the Bose way of solving this is ancient: th-cam.com/video/MUCShGGPdq8/w-d-xo.html
