    That's a fantastic roadmap to find deals! Another one that can slide under networking is to build relationships with lawyers, accountants and bankers as they are often the first to hear when an owner thinks about selling.

      Agreed! Attorneys and architects have actually been some of our best referral sources 🙌🏼

      I was thinking about that today: Where do Attorneys network? Any advice on that?

    I was a Commercial Insurance (P&C) Broker for 20 years and decided to move into Real Estate. Taking the courses needed to get licensed but ultimate goal is to invest. I really appreciate the quality content, the way you present, video quality... its all done with excellence. Thanks so much!

      Congrats on the move, Sara. Getting into CRE was one of the best things I ever did - it's fun and every day is something new

    Hi, Tyler. Do you suggest focusing on one market or branching out and going wherever we can find deals?

      I don’t know enough about your situation to recommend either way. I tend to say do your first deal close to home so you can see it, manage it, etc

    Once you’ve found that investment opportunity, you’ve gotta underwrite it and make sure the numbers work. Get the models my team and I use here: www.tylercauble.com/models

    A few years ago, I sent out a letter to a property owner on a site that I was interested in - a retail project in East Nashville. Over a YEAR later they responded saying they were ready to do something. What's the coolest story you have about finding a deal?

    Hey Tyler would these methods work for commercial mortgage brokering? and do you think that being a commercial mortgage broker can be just as effective as being a commercial real estate broker in order to break in to this industry?

    • @TylerCauble
      @TylerCauble  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I would imagine they could, depending on what your pitch is when you’re meeting with these property owners. And it certainly could be, since you’ll be learning finance from the ground up, which is a fairly important side of investing

    Feeling really good that I’m already doing a lot of the stuff that you mentioned. I’m just looking for one property for my business. I can’t imagine doing it all the time. Would be fun though. Thanks for the tips.

      It's a lot of fun - I'm very fortunate to get to do it for myself and others every day!

    I just talked to a broker saying to stay away from NNN lease properties, he said they are not “good investments,” I was perplexed because I don’t agree
