- Once we started homesteading we also started raising a lot of new animals. These animals all have a purpose on our homestead and I want to explain what every animals brings to us and helps us as first time homesteaders. Technically we're not supposed to have a rooster, so we bought sexed chicks, but there's always the chance. If we end up with one, we're keeping him. There's no penalty in our city ordinances anymore, so it's only going to be an issue if the neighbors make a stink.

One thing I would like to try is a raised compost bin, good for slow worms 🪱 but not rodents
Chickens in the compost bin have seem to work well for us!

Yes 😂 but not that much very little so sometimes they can get sick if they don’t get to eat too much
@@AcresOfAdventure but ok if given a place to hatch eggs. Separate inner cage or something with very close water and food. Info from other sources on uTube. Many blessings everyone.

Yeah she has surprised us for sure, we were nervous how it was going to go with her. It seems to be worse when she is separated from them. But if she is right in with the chickens she is completely fine. She will run at them when she's on the other side of the fence. We have free ranged them throughout our whole yard and she did great with them, only chasing them when they fly.

I really need to find someone to help me get started from nothing even if I could work on someone's homestead and learn how to take care of stuff and build stuff I want to start out with two busses and a van and then build a cave house and a Halloween haunted attraction business Please someone help me. I also want help to make a online store and sell and make anime figures and Halloween stuff. If someone helped me make the online store and supplied me with some art supplies supported me with art supplies that would really help out a lot and id appreciate it. it all starts with creating a online store so I can make and sell the things I want to make. please help me.
