This album as a whole reminds of the beginning of Stratovarius' sound (Fright Night, Twilight Time) due to its heavy and dark approach in terms of lyrics and instrumental, and simultaneously, it sounds really refreshing and not so predictable. I really learned to like it in the last years.
even after years of being a Stratovarius fan this album is one of the most refreshing ones. if people don't like the temporary change in style it's their business, but the music is /good/.
Underrated song and album. Though it's whole concept is based on a charade (the 2004 polemic), it's a refreshing sound and not a "stuck formulaic music" album, something Stratovarius was starting to fall into since elements pt 2 and the unreleased Revolution Renaissance was beginning to warn, songs that sounds very like others. Even we can see Tolkki's side projects since then have fallen to be very "stratovarius" and not really that original. Revolution Renaissance's Trinity or the First Avalon are the most fresh sounds, but the rest, it sounds pretty much like the same. I think Stratovarius did good by keep going without Tolkki, they have proved themselves they can keep the flame alive for many more years, at least in the studio albums. Yes, I really like this album and, though I really doubt it will ever be performed again, either by Tolkki or modern Stratovarius, musically is great, and worth a listen.
Stratovarius is one of their most unique and uncharacteristic albums. Frankly, there's very few songs I don't like, and though there aren't songs from it between my favorites, they're very refreshing.
@krakaneti Totally agree with you, each one of Strato's songs are beautiful. And its good that, in my opinion that bands that "St Anger"-ish album because they try to create something a little different from everything else they did and just see how they're fans respond to it. Im glad they did, its still an amazing in my eyes and ears.
Ok, the album is good, though certainly not Stratovarius at their finest. Each and every band has a "St Anger"-ish album, and this is apparently Strato's one. And if you think they are not as good as they used to be, listen to Polaris and Elysium, and think again.

This year has, indeed, being a nightmare :(
*Hears intro* "....hmmm... human music... I like it!"

Likely the reason why it's the only one I really like from them...
Best Megadeth song ever
Úžasná písnička, úžasná kapela. Snad jen oni dokážou vykouzlit takovou nádheru.
2020 music

Le pones la voz de Hetfield y es un tema de "Load"

Sounds like the Deep Purple song Shadows from 1968. Just the start guitar bit
TEMASOOO
Good!!! Good!!
I like it. It’s not the good old Strato that everyone loves but it’s different, refreshing. I like this album. But even Tolkki hates it :D
when i first heard this song i was so happy. the power that is used after the intro is so great \m/

It's more of a traditional heavy metal midpace song, rather than speed of light power metal, but it's still good!
This song is fucking amazing
I have that on my iCloud account
I just found this sound and i like it, but i automatically knew people would dislike it cuz it sounds different..
awesome
my friend just gave me a cd of this lets take take a look how they sound
LO SAPEVO IOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

Kotipelto sounds funny here.
What?
@paganini33 Dying? Have you heard their latest album? They're back buddy ; )
Seriously this song sounds like Ain't My Bitch from Metallica.
busca a stratovarius en taringa!
busca en google stratovarius discografía taringa!
I want this one on Beat Saber
@MawBTS Polaris + Elysium = Stratovarius still a great band.
Novamente a dança...dãtãdãtãdã
Motley Crue are cool
algorithme ^^
los metaloides quejándose de que suena pop. La canción es buenisima y les falta mucho conocimiento musical papus
dont understan a word.but try Black Diamond.there is a video
suena a dream evil
THATS SOME GOOD THRASH.
Lol... Funny, the "Stratovarius"album is the one that represents the band's style the least of all.
what's wrong with this album, it is good.
Self-titled isn't the best work of Stratovarius, but it's not so bad to be honest. I like this heavier approach with too much orchestration nuances.
whacking
Lee🤘
sounds more like megadeth :P (jk)
Musiquinha ruim... Fraquinha demais ☹️☹️☹️🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️
No me mal interpreten pero algunas canciones de este disco suenan mero pop
Es el disco menos exitoso en mi opinión (por no decir malo)
It's very similar to a song thar my chemical romance write. oh fuck ._.
i like this song, but the chorus suck that much. could be a great song...
they just need to change the chords and i'm sure everybody will listen and love the song
Ugh, the verse melody... The lyrics... I liked the Elements albums, but the critics were right about this one.
Me parece que perdió el toque stratovarius... Muy pop demasiado creo yo
lol igualito a rihanna.
Por sí no lo sabias esa canción es del 2005 sino mal recuerdo
@@Arcanineisthebest XDDD
They should not have made this album LOL besides back to madness
I really Like the old stuff.
But when i hear this yellow green shit(cause shit is shit) i often wanna laugh.
Only good Stratovarius song.
This song sounds awful! They used to be such a great band
