@BootyBot My guess is that in an MMA crazed world, most people fail to see the value of including weapon awareness and exploration in training. They may feel that it has no connection to the empty hand, or they may simply fear that this is a tangent that will put them behind their peers in the race for who can add the slickest new technique for a hierarchical combat contest in the octagon. This training is designed to keep you relevant beyond the years when you are young and in peak condition.
