Thanks for the playthrough. Looks like a fun game and soloable too. I have the deluxe edition of African Campaign but haven’t gotten that to the table yet. I know that one’s a lighter North Africa game- this one if anything is lighter and quicker. Might have to pick this one up sometime.
Hey Wayne, thanks for this playthrough, my kickstarter has been recorded, unfortunately I was too late for the early shipment. Looking forward to getting this game hopefully by May. By the way I am a proud subscriber to your channel, and always look forward to your new stuff.... Unless it's a game I have no interest in that is 😁👍
Well, they are totally different styles/systems. FC:R is dedicated solitaire, Rommel here is a 2 player game that can be played solo. I would say if you want a more dedicated solitaire game with multiple scenarios, go with FC:R. If you want a game that feels more sandbox, but really just has the one setup, and is designed as a more open game, go with Rommel. Or just buy both 😁
You may need to stop watching on your phone and watch on a computer or TV instead. The camera can't get any closer, and I can read everything clearly on my screen.

The map board is so “clean” & uncluttered… just like the desert! Glad to see that the solitaire option is quite viable. Thanks for the video!
That's exactly how I feel about the board.
Very helpful. Thanks for walking us through the game.
My pleasure!

Definitely check it out Bruce, you never know if it will click with you.
Great play through. I like the game, but the rulebook leaves a lot to be desired. Your video cleared up some questions I had about it. Great job.
I'm glad it was helpful Vince!

I appreciate that Frank! I bet you'll enjoy the game. And no worries about watching every thing. Watch what you like, and enjoy the hobby 👍
How does this compare with Field Commander Rommel? I'm torn between the two.

I haven't watched the video yet but does it play solitaire out of the box because the developer told me there wouldn't be a single player option?
Yes, there are solitaire rules included with the game.
Wayne, I watch and like your videos but this one not so much. Please lose the giant tweezers. It is too distracting. Thanks.
You're the first to tell me you don't like the large tweezers!
Camera too far from the map. Can't see anything

Tuh-BROOK. Otherwise, thanks for another great play through. Always appreciate solitaire play.
Glad you enjoyed it!
