I am not sure if they mentioned this but the new Stradic SW B 10000 size spool capacity is kind of equivalent to the Saragosa 14000 spool. Extremely happy when I got this reel and on par with my Certate SW 21.
Great video. I already have a Saragosa 6000HG but I am looking to downgrade as it feels quite big for my 9'6" SaltX2 Rod. Would you recommend a 4000 or 5000 series in the Stradic SW B? I've heard the 4000 is very light while the 5000 is smooth but can feel heavy at times while reeling - I tried a SaltX 2 4000 series reel that's size felt quite good when paired with my 9'6", but I'm not sure if that size is closer to a 4000 or 5000 in this reel. I mainly do inshore fishing off the coast in the US for striped bass and bluefish.
Hey FISHO!!! The Stradic is super light, so I’m thinking the 5000 will actually work perfect for your application! We are used to heavier reels though, so my suggestion is take your rod into your tackle store if possible and put both onto your rod and see how it balances…
The ONLY difference between the Saragosa and the new Stradic is The colour Flutes in the spool Compisite knob. The 4000 is the only one with long stroke spool. It is also basically just a Stradic FM with different colour.

Great video guys 🤙 would really love to know are the stradic 8000 and 10000 spools interchangeable and which would be a better choice between the gosa 10k and stradic 10k in terms of shore fishing and handling a few ineds. 😉🎣🐟
Hey bud So yes, they are. The 10k is perfect for smaller non eds (watch latest video), and is lighter than the Gosa. All in all will be an amazing combo for you!
Okuma Tesoro Main shaft is of titanium Main gear is bigger and made of Brass More bearings Drag sound is great Rigid body Dudal stack drag system Little bit heavy in weight but smooth. Reel Above 8000 size anglers basically use them for big game so Tesoro is made for big game.
@@untraceablefishing looking forward to it. I am off to Nqabara in December so I want to pair either one with a beach master 2 no 5 but will scale down to a 6000 size reel
Thanks for these amazing videos guys! 👏 👏 👏 Just got the 6000XG B to pair up with a Sierra Heavy 😊 Also keen to get the 4000XG B for a lighter setup for lure spinning. What rod would you recommend to pair up with the 4000XG? Maybe something in the 9 foot range? Any advice appreciated.
I run 4000 size shamans on my 7ft bass rods all the way up to my inshore 7ft and avid surf rods that are 9ft. 4000 size with 30lb power pro braid, landed some 30-40 lb fish 4000 size reels.
@@untraceablefishing ticks all the boxes for what I do run afew other reels , more agricultural but more stopping power ie fin nor offshore , a couple of stradics just make it abit nicer

I got the 5000 and it looks very nice, got it for my son for Xmas. Can’t wait to try it out my self, seems like a nice step above the Spheros
It’s a beautiful reel- you’re going to have 1 extremely happy son!!

Stradic b vs Okuma Tesoro. Which is your pick in a 8000?
Okuma Tesoro
Main shaft is of titanium
Main gear is bigger and made of Brass
More bearings
Drag sound is great
Rigid body
Dudal stack drag system
Little bit heavy in weight but smooth.
Reel Above 8000 size anglers basically use them for big game so Tesoro is made for big game.
Tesoro is a strong heavy beast, kind of 4x4 vs sportscar depends on what you prefer, for me lighter weight means longer sessions less fatigue
We have both now… so wait for a review comparing the 2. But we have each for different facets of fishing.
We absolutely LOVE the Tesoro though🔥

@@untraceablefishing When will we see the review?
What size stradic sw b would you guys recommend for my daiwa saltist 12ft3 2-4oz rod?
6000 should be good
8000 if chasing monsters
6000 or 8000 as Don suggests is a good go to size🤙🏻
Which is better for jigging and casting shimano saragosa 10000 vs shimano stradic 2024
Stradic for sure… it’s the lighter of the 2

9ft is ideal, there some awesome new assassin rods on the way. Due sometime late October
Yes, agree with Don- some awesome options on their way soon!
