You know they did a game right when every person in top 8 plays a different character.

Whos the commentator on the left. Hes so awesome lol
Majin so intense at the opening lol...
Please I need an honest opinion for science of course. For a technical stand point and only for ppl that play both can somebody plz tell me What's harder to play between injustice 2 and Guilty Gear. Like which one is a deeper game.
I don't play Injustice 2, but I've yet to see a fighting game with a higher learning curve than gulity gear, so I highly doubt Injustice 2 is harder to play than guilty gear.
Definitely guilty gear
Not many people watching GG, eh?
Not yet.
Der Maskierte Muchacho intelligence is not common :P gg is too much for most
All the same concepts apply to GG so not sure what you're trying to say. =/
Rachis01 shrugs~ if you can't tell the difference between in general then I can't help you. All games share fundamentals, but some games simply have more going on per second. It's mathematics to be honest, decisions per second.
So, Starcraft is for the most intelligent people and chess is basically for idiots?
I don't think it's that easy, matey.
Filthy frank?
I've lost respect for Kazunoko after seeing him play Raven. One of the most cliche designs in the game while being given benefits that are beyond normal standards in Guilty Gear. What the fuck was Arc thinking by adding him?
What do you mean? I don't really play Gg but it looks like he just throws a fireball on wake up and a basic jump in pressure
That's essentially what he does. He has a mean 50/50 mix up with little effort required. Let me bestow to you the bullshit that Raven can do.
1. Raven's attacks come out very fast and he can hit in many different directions.
2. His airdash is not only easy to do (it usually lands you into an enemy fairly easy), but he can pretty much stop it near landing and hit low instead or hit high. Worst off? It's hard to hit him from the front at times cause it has an auto attack once it reaches someone.
3. He can get a knockdown anywhere on the screen after landing a combo, meaning he can throw out that "fireball" which is a huge deal btw, cause then he has more than enough time to pressure and have amazing mix ups too. He can even usually land a grab that has a 50/50% chance of landing and can be combo'd into (You can't burst while being grabbed :B So cool)
4. That laser thing you see? It's a needle. If it hits you, you're slowed for a bit more than 2 seconds. He can shoot it in 3 directions. If he YRC's it when enemy blocks? He can start up pressure with his airdash and it usually works very, very well.
5. He pretty much has every type of tool in the game and they're all very straightforward ones. Because Raven has many options to just hit you in many ways, he can also turn back the game in the middle of being pressured.
6. The idea he has to take damage to become stronger? A lie. It's not even used very often, if at all. But pretty much, Raven doesn't need to worry about match ups or any hard learning curves. Not only that, but he gets huge benefits from his straightforward play style. Even his Super disgusts me. It's a great reversal and one of the better ones in the game, plus it covers up a good portion of the screen and generally leaves him in a good position afterwards (even if you block it).
Most of all? He's just a brain dead character. If you don't want to learn Guilty Gear, but you still want to feel like you're good, Raven's pretty much the answer. Once you've learned him against one character, you've learned how to play him in every way. (Almost all the cast members have to actually fight specifically)
Raven can't deal with pressure very well, he has no meterless reversal. Most characters have a projectile based oki with a 50/50 setup, so he isn't unique in that reguard
Raven has more options out of it though. My main point against Raven, though, is that he's poorly designed. Nobody ever uses his gimmick mechanic because his oki game is already just the most optimal playstyle for him competitively, and his stance is easy to see coming and avoid. Interesting mechanic wasted on a braindead character. I miss seeing Kazunoko and Dogura play more interesting characters like Sol and Sin, respectively.
Is that really a big deal? Bedman has no meterless reversal too. Difference is that Bedman's only reversal that costs tension sucks dick compared to Raven's.
