To Shane and everyone responsible for fightTIPS, thank you very much for this channel. It's a great help for amateur boxers and fighters in general. Greetings from Argentina!
@Mark Lucchese shes a female, she naturally has wider hips, she has her stance wider than a mans, hip torque speed is faster. small doesnt matter its the body's physiology. common sense dude
@Mark Lucchese strength is angle specific and you will notice her form and stance width is geared towards her height and her gender. Even if she put on more weight, she would be moving at similar if not faster speeds if her obliques and form were tuned to suit it. I am familiar with muay thai and have fought competitive as well as done other martial arts and studied the best movement angles for different heights and genders. Her muay thai stance is a lot wider then Shane's as you can see. Tightness of the stance to check kicks doesnt matter when width of the stance is what i was referring to
This video aged so well. Janet Todd became ONE Muay Thai Champion beating the beast Stamp Fairtex and this month Jackie Buntan is making her ONE Championship debut
Respect for the move to make a seminar in order to raise funds for these spectacular athletes. I've experienced the same frustration to go with the national team to fight without any government support in the past. Cheers man.
You are not supported because you don't generate revenue. And you don't generate revenue because people aren't interested in watching you. And people don't want to watch you because you are athletically and technically inferior to men. That's all.
Definitely very skilled strikers. It’s hard to find fighters that know how to spar fast and light. Most guys tend to forget to spar light when they strike fast.
Man, I love watching MT sparring and padwork so much. It's such an awesome sport. Dude, if John Wayne Parr is ever in SoCal, you need to get that guy on the show! That'd be a blast watching you guys work pads and get some light sparring in!
When I first started doing Muay Thai I always seen this woman training super hard every single day of the week. Little did I know its Muay Thai god Selina Flores
i struggled first time i sparred a girl, i was afraid to make contact with my push kicks, to the extent that the first one actually stopped mid sparring to make me kick her hard in the stomach lol i guess that helped in a big way, and i realized what a prick i was actually being by holding back vs her. i didnt mean to imply anything by it, i was new to sparring to begin with so i was having trouble with everyone else too. was my second day of class only and the same day i ripped my calf muscle somehow. still recovering from that pain in the ass, its almost back to normal though.
Same here but in jiu jitsu, I was used to being able to push off of the chest area for guys so when a girl was my partner I had to hold hold back because I didn't want to just straight up grab their breasts so in the end I lost a match I knew I could have won
@@cerebralpathways6123 oh man i bet its way worse with jiu jitsu lol i havent picked up any bjj classes yet i only have 3 classes a week currently so they are all dedicated to muay thai for now as thats my main sport. but i have always been interested in mma, but my background is tkd and hap kido so the transition into kickboxing/muay thai wasnt so bad but for mma i would be like a fish out of water lol no grappling exp yet at all. i am excited to get into it though, now a new level of being nervous after your tale haha
@@leebrown8498 thanks! its going well so far. ill be honest, when i felt it tear, it didnt hurt at first, and that scared the shit out of me. But was relieved to find out it was just the muscle.
I follow those girls in Instagram, some of the best technicians I've seen. Real clean beautiful Muay Thai skills, nice to see you doing a video with them.
I love these videos, but man would I REALLY LOVE to see a video of Shane sparring at at least 70 percent. Obviously that wouldn’t have been appropriate for this setting, but it’d be both entertaining and educational to see a hard spar with Shane due to his high skill level and knowledge accumulated from training with people all over the globe.
No shit Shane, you a real dude. I appreciate your humble spirit. But what drive me crazy why they don't support the players who representing the country.
Shane you should start doing muay thai again and i know that you broke your toe doing muay thai but i feel like you can be great at both muay thai and boxing
Seems like it was pretty good sparring sessions. It's cool that you're raising awareness and funds, there's so many great female fighters that are awesome to watch now, It's so disappointing that their activities don't get adequately funded at such a high level.
What I like is how they didn't try to knock him out. Not to say all girls do this but I've sparred alot of girls that would always try to straight kick my ass when we were supposed to be doing light/medium sparring.
I'm sorry that some will take advantage like that when they should know that light sparring means light sparring & nobody should go ridiculously 2 rough & i've did some sparring b4 but I gave the other person light sparring & good experience & I got the same in return, light sparring helps 2 learn techniques & 2 train 4 being either in a tournament, amateur, or pro
Incredible! I'm a kickboxer from Finland myself and I would love to donate some money to the team but I don't have PayPal...however I wish best of luck to the whole team!
Boris the Blade The US is broke, dude They don't even have no money, they are hundreds of billions in deficit, so no wonder they have to save some money in muay thai tournaments :D

I really respect these girls even before the tournament.
And shane, you act like a very mature guy
He is a mature guy!.
I like how some folks assume that Shane isn't supposed to be mature. He is married man ffs
I am married too, also 37 yrs old, i see many people above a 40 and 50 with many kids and not mature.
It's not related to age
you named yourself after a star wars character. It seems that you and your friends come from the same place lmao

That's what I'm wondering too. Hopefully soon.
Her style and techniques looked super cool.
I was starting to doubt Shane but this restored my faith in what he teaches. Beautiful sparring. Great technique.
Jackie got some moves. All three of em are sharp.
I love your technical videos, but I've gotta admit that just going out and talking to fighters like this is a super fun change of pace.
That's a really cool thing you do man! Helping up and coming fighters is really generous of you
Very nice to see sparring that is not about survival, but actually doing combos. :)
