- Another one of my favourite songs from the 80's. I made this cover using Cubase 6, Linn Drum samples in Groove Agent, Arturia Prophet V, Jupiter -8V, FM7, and Fairlight samples in Kontakt. Please also check out my Soundcloud account: / juno-dreams
I liste to this song and I start crying 😢 because I remember my wife that she died from lung cancer. This was one of her favorite songs from the 80's.... and we grew up together in the 80's 💔🥹

This song along with Mister Misters broken Wings was the 1980s of sorts, poetic lyrics heavenly synth effects drum machines really captured the feeling at the time.
Brother i'd give you 1000 thumbs up if i could. Couldn't agree more. Drive and Broken Wings has always been my 2 essential 80's songs since they came out. I just can't imagine the 80's without those 2 songs, and i love hundreds of 80's songs...
Cyndi Lauper's "Time After Time" was another mid-1980s track which had nice synth effects and touching lyrics. Definitely a time I would have wanted to live in.

If you hadn't said it was a cover, I'd have thought it was the original instrumental from the record. Superb... simply superb!

Listened to this song sitting in the car in the supermarket parking lot once while watching lightning strikes and some of them were synchronized to the beat! It was freaken awesome! This song takes me back to my childhood like in the 80's like nothing else! And this instrumental cover is so smooth and with it's own original twists!

Indeed, very much agree with that sentiment! There are only very few that truly feel how the 80s sounded, and know how to translate it into the right mixing techniques.
