My Aunt Mary (RIP) used to sometimes make stuffed artichokes. They were awesome!!! The only down side was whenever she made them and while we were eating them she'd complain and complain about how much work they were to make. I'm thinking that these roasted artichoke hearts will have a similar flavor to her stuffed baked artichokes because they have most, if not all, the same ingredients. I'll be making a tray of these fairly soon.

Love artichokes, especially the hearts. Never had this. Where did you get those beautiful hearts? Only see them in a jar with oil already in it. Maybe 4-5 in the jar. I’ll try it.
I bought them at an Italian grocery store in Dallas (Jimmy’s) They were in a can filled with olive oil. Sorry, I can’t remember the name brand. But, they were good.

I make something very similar, I take the heart bottoms, same concept, same ingredients, I add chopped up marinated artichoke hearts and then I form a meatball size mound on top of each bottom, and those are what I call my stuff artichoke hearts, like you I bake them too. I use them as a side dish on holidays or appetizers for parties. Artichokes are delicious, you can never go wrong with those. Question for you: do you have a good recipe for stuffed cherry peppers, not the ones with prosciutto and cheese, I'm looking for the old school Italian ones, the ones that were breadcrumbs and cheese, and maybe anchovy, but I'm not sure?

My mom and my grandmother made them. My mom used frozen artichokes delicious. Oregano included. Garlic, olive oil, grated cheese etc. delicious.
