My Aunt Mary (RIP) used to sometimes make stuffed artichokes. They were awesome!!! The only down side was whenever she made them and while we were eating them she'd complain and complain about how much work they were to make. I'm thinking that these roasted artichoke hearts will have a similar flavor to her stuffed baked artichokes because they have most, if not all, the same ingredients. I'll be making a tray of these fairly soon.

Very nice! I make something very similar, I take the heart bottoms, same concept, same ingredients, I add chopped up marinated artichoke hearts and then I form a meatball size mound on top of each bottom, and those are what I call my stuff artichoke hearts, like you I bake them too. I use them as a side dish on holidays or appetizers for parties. Artichokes are delicious, you can never go wrong with those.
Question for you: do you have a good recipe for stuffed cherry peppers, not the ones with prosciutto and cheese, I'm looking for the old school Italian ones, the ones that were breadcrumbs and cheese, and maybe anchovy, but I'm not sure?
