The gordon ramsey stuff is a reference to when a fan tweeted some eggs mark cooked saying that her bf had made them to gordon ramsey and gordon ramsey told her to get back on tinder! a lot of other stuff in the video are specific references to interactions/memes between mark and his fans :)
Mark is famously bad at cooking eggs, to the point that on one of the NCT shows he was given a challenge to cook an egg for every member 😂

This one is a shoutout to the mark's lore lol. He made use of his infamously bad cooking egg skills which led to "get back on tinder" by gordon to say "welp I ate at other things, thankfully I don't need to stress about that" lol. I enjoyed the exploration he's doing on his solo. I like this sound on him + his writing skills are always interesting
I like how you looked at gordon being brought up but knowing mark it could be that but it also could be when Gordon roasted mark for not knowing how to cook eggs. Mark is really... edgy when it comes to his writing both lyrics and poetry, and ngl i love it. It's just very him.
I wouldn't be surprised if he is holding off on solo debut to provide added stability going into NCTs military era. Additionally, he's just so darn busy, he probably doesn't have much extra time to focus on so stuff.

I find that he's exploring a few different themes in this like authenticity, living online and on social media, growing up, and how unnerving it is as a Gen Z living in these times. Our world is on fire, we are obsessed with being online and viewing the world through our phones. The masks feel like they're alluding to how we ourselves put up our societal masks and how unnerving they are. But most of all he's having fun about not being able to cook eggs and Gordon laying into him for that.
HE DONT KNOW HOW TO MAKE EGGS, it's a joke inside nct and nctzens, he always messes up doing eggs when he have opportunity, I think its very cool and cute the way he raps abt it ❤
