I used to watch a bunch of different ASMR channels to sleep and would spend forever trying to find the right video to fall asleep to but now I pretty much just go straight to your channel every night and fall asleep to your videos. Thanks for helping this insomniac out, your channel is amazing!

Also here’s a tip for soldering. When you’re trying to strip those tiny wires, grab a lighter and hold it in the flame for a second, then you can just slide it off with your finger. So much easier than using a wire stripper on those delicate wires. I’m listening to this to go to sleep but imma watch it again tomorrow to see if I can offer you any more advice ✌️
(Not saying you’re bad at it, I’ve just learned easier methods the hard way)

Listening to you do this sounds relaxing but Lord, it's a good thing I didn't have all the fancy tools when I did this for my kid. I just used my tiny cuticle scissors and cut down the length of the outer insulation and my stitch puller to split the plastic on the tiny ones. Ran out of wire for my Jewelery soldering iron so just spliced and wrapped in electrical tape. Looked like crap but lasted long enough for his dad to buy a new one later!
All your soldering problems could be solved with a tiny bit of flux on your wires! But boy that was some GOOD asmr!!!!! Love it!

The solder most likely has a flux core to assist the solder to melt and flow, but some additional flux on the wires would make it much easier for the solder to wick on the cables. The flux breaks down the contaminants and oxide layer that builds up on exposed metal surfaces which hinders soldering - makes life so much easier.

Holey shit dude my jaw dropped after I saw all your videos..... We are so similar you and I, that I'm still in awe. I studied astronomy at UBC, a brilliant Canadian university, and compsci classes, psychology classes, and a circuits class. So when I saw that you made electronicS asmr videos, I was LIKE TWO fav things yayy!! Then I discovered that you love space (as do I, particularly black holes and gas giants), and you love Greek mythology (Norse mainly, as I do), and you love the human brain (as I do). I'm just shocked man, I never ever met another guy that had the exact 1 to 1 interests as me. And btw you should see how many cables I've stripped down and fixed lolol. Much love and much respect from Vancouver Canada!
