Lovely Video, Would you happen to know how you would go about setting up analog rytm to pyramid? would you assign each pad to a track on pyramid? or would you have your finished drum patterns on the pyramid channels?
Hey, I used to control the pattern changes with the Pyramid, I didn't program the full beat with it. Main reason is, that it's pretty complex. I sold the Pyramid month ago because its handling was too much for me.
Nice! Thank you very much! My question is: why using the pyramid to control the already powerful sequencer of the digitakt? It would be nice to expand polyrhythmic and euclidean possibilities on the digitakt/digitone!? I am thinking about using the pyramid to control the perfourmer and the elecktron boxes.. Thanks again!
I can actually not tell you anymore haha I think I just wanted to use ONE sequencer at the same time and not deal with the internal sequencers of Digitakt, Digitone and alle the others. Beside that the Squarp sequencer has a lot of features that the digit doesn’t (as much as I like the Elektron sequencers - they are standing still and there are no real fresh features since a time).
Hi, I’ve done all of the above but I’m only getting pattern changes and not full program changes (from 1 full kit / project to another). Any clue why it’s not working? My patterns are all over the shop so need it to do full program changes!
Hi Katie, what is „program“ ? On the Digitakt. There are banks / patterns that you can change with the pyramid. A „project“ is a separate file containing several banks with patterns and as far as I know you cannot load up new projects controlled by external hardware. You can only switch between patterns that are stored in the same project.
@@59Perlen ok, so I need to move all of my kits over from the different projects to 1 project and have them all in the right order? Ok I think I get it now!
Hey! First of all, yes. You can control every MIDI enabled piece of Hardware with Pyramid. In terms of the Sequencer: the Pyramid OS sequencer is super powerful, but the Elektron has some features the Pyramid doesn’t offer. That said, I would say it depends what you want to achieve with your setup. I tried to sequence a 30 min set with my entire setup on the OT but failed because of the arranger. With pyramid it’s much easier (to me). Does my answer makes sense at all ? Lol
oh man! Thank you!! Saved me a lot of heartache!
Oooh thanks for leaving the comment I am behind with the answers ... hope you're enjoying the Pyramid?

Did you manage to sequence the performer with it ?
@@59Perlen oh, no not yet unfortunately

is it possible to control and sequence the octatrack well from the pyramid?
