What about when someone hijacks your thoughts in a positive way? When you think about them in a desired, loving, and caring way… does it still take your power away? Is that needing them or are they becoming your idol?
Any time you are in a place of positivity, when you think kindly and mercifully towards someone, that's of course a good thing. But if it's EASY to think of someone in that way, it's sort of like "training wheels" on how we should feel about and treat others. The real spiritual work is when you can choose to see the spark of Light and positivity in someone when it's difficult to do so. Blessings & Light to you!
