Hi Clare Your red sweater you’re wearing is so beautiful and beautiful color on you. Making your own tank pattern in that gorgeous yarn is as usual very inspirational. Knitting for a friend is such a gift of love! Blessings
I’m happy to see your channel growing fast now. 🤩 Just fair, as I think you’re so enjoyable to watch! It’s the first thing I click when I see you post a new video out. Thank you for sharing your adventures!❤
Ha ha you’re so funny, so much like me. I speed date my yarns in my mind in bed before going to sleep! I also just did another woolyyarns order 😬 I also want to use all my yarn up and avoid leftovers. I too got madly into knitting during the pandemic and have 120 projects on my Ravelry. The linen, it is such a complicated yarn to work with. I’m knitting with two strands held together and even though it’s soft it’s still not fun, but once you block it, it changes everything. The row gauge the stitch gauge change and every linen yarn even if they’re similar in weight, behaves differently 😣So I would say always give it a quick wash and then manhandle it. So glad you’ve got more subscribers as your content is amazing, thanks for sharing, happy knitting, Karen 🥰💪🏻
Hi Claire you are such a great knitter. Loved all your knits and also your podcast. Just subscribed in your last video and also listening to you from Melbourne.
I made the nostalgia tank top with paintbox worsted weight recycled cotton and it looks great on but the fabric is SO THICK and I wouldn’t try again in a worsted weight 😭 plus the thick cotton just takes so long to dry
Hi Clare, I’m so excited to have discovered your channel. I’m also from Queensland so it’s lovely to find another Australian knitting podcast. Your knits are absolutely beautiful, love your yarn choices, you are so talented. I only learnt to knit during Covid lockdown but have become obsessed with knitting. Can’t wait to follow along ❤️
I think you're right, and I did think about it. however my patience hasn't stretched to washing a swatch yet. Once I finish few more WIPs I'll come back to it.
Hi Clare, I love the self drafted pattern you made with that beautiful cotton yarn but disappointed that it was not so great to work with since you influenced me to order it after watching your video😊 I don’t worry so much about having too much left over as I do about not having enough. Love your podcast💕
Hi Claire, I really enjoy your videos and your knits are beautiful, Iwas wondering if you are familiar with Nundle woolen mills in NSW, they have some beautiful yarns that you may like. Regards Karen 😁
I just imagined the Nostalgia top with lacey mohair sleeves and neck. Maybe you have some mohair with similar colors in your stash, you can turn it into a winter top this way. 😊
Teekay yarns in Qld sell Drops yarn. And they send out yarn samples.
Thanks I'll check them out. I think they're a bit more expensive than Wool Warehouse though.

Grandma loves making costumes for book week every year! We've done pumpkin, dragon ball, dracula and more.

@@kathrynbarry3059 welcome! Unfortunately our short winter is already over.
Thanks Claire! Love your videos. You are very entertaining and talented. Hello from Melbourne! Glad your channel is growing
Thanks so much! 😊 I think it's more obsession than talent
Wash all you plant based fibers swatches. They change drastically as well as gauge.

Oh no. It was hard to knit with but the finished result is so worth it.
Just as I was wondering how it would be sous vide…you said you did it. Yes please!!!!!
Haha which match were you referring to?
Love your yarn speed dating. You’re very talented. Happy knitting 💚🧶💚

I see their ad pop up from time to time, but haven't tried their yarn yet. I will check them out.

Great idea!! I think it'll look great with some cute puffy sleeves.
Unravel that tahki I cami and make in a looser gauge. Yarn goes further and makes it softer. Wash the project to see how it softens. Then unravel.
Where did you buy the wooly yarn ? Website? Thanks
@@quiho8104 it’s called woolyyarn.com
They are based in Latvia and ships internationally
@@Clare_likes_to_knit thanks so much
