Now I'm joking, but that makes me wonder if it'd be cool to have a few floating leaf blocks, to simulate a tree that has been freshly chopped down 🤔. Anyways, thanks for the advice, I really like your LEGO Minecraft world, I find it to be the perfect size (not huge, and definitely not small, it's actually quite relatable, something that anyone with some time and determination could do). And I absolutely agree with the "keep it sparse" advice, overly crowded worlds just don't look good IMHO.

But now I have 2 48x48 plates that I’m going to try and make into MILS and hopefully be able to build something. Also never played Minecraft, but I actually like the fact Lego and Minecraft go together.
I just want to say when you said the rule about not using rounded parts if you look back in your video you can see that sugar can is actually round so you kind of broke that rule yourself just wanted to point that out
I personally don't like building huge custom displays like that. My way of creating a LEGO Minecraft world is to just put a few official sets together in a way that makes them look good. It really works just right as decoration for my desk. My favorite combination currently is the one made from: the nether bastion, the warped forest, the ruined portal, and the bee farm. You can also replace for example the bee farm with the skeleton dungeon and you get a more modern feeling. Even builds as small as polybags can help such world look nicer. When I add the nether duel polybag in front of the warped forest, it adds a lot of depth. Same thing can be done with this year's smallest box set and polybag by adding them behind the ruined portal.

So, with number 8, space the builds apart, i have a really small area so i can’t really do that.
Like the diversity in your landscape tip, trying to make that work with my own MOCs as well also the minifig tip lol
