A cracking ford 6 cyl .Its got power to spare .Theres only 1 thing id disagree with ..That straight pipe noise after a day would deafen you ..Id just fit a better exhaust ..A great machine .A great video ..
I did that back in the 90s... i put a ford cargo lorry engine bosch pump 3200 RPM in a plow master 95.. fwd ...Hino power steering ram...7000 lift pump... lift arms and ram..wow that tractor was fast and powerfull ...😲...hold on to your HAT...helo from ireland ...😉

Great sounding reliable horsepower tractor right there the fordson major and ford D series engine were a beautiful combination

Is this a 6cylinder Thames Trader engine or a D series.Trader would make more sense as liners pistons bearings etc, are common to both only quantity differ,Yes you will be deaf after a day like that and that is easy for that tr@ctor.

Turning over soft soil. No pulling required there but then ford's wouldn't handle much more .
When I see black smoke you are thrashing the engine. Take off one furrow or drop a gear and your lovely tractor will keep going for years longer.
