    @9:21 Yung $521.43 na max government contribution you can only earn it if you have contributed at least $1042.86 to your Kiwisaver in the tax year. :)
    Bale govt will give 50 cents for every dollar contributed and the max they will give is $521.43
    In case maging resident ka around June, yung deadline to qualify for that year’s govt contribution is 30 June so before that date you can join Kiwisaver and voluntarily contribute $1024.43 to get the free money :D

      Not everyone is entitled to join KiwiSaver . New Zealand Citizen or entitled to live indifinetely in NZ or permanent residents can join. And this KiwiSaver is not a savings it’s an investment so sometimes your money drops . Be careful in choosing a scheme.

      You have to be NZ citizens or permanent residents before you can buy a property. If you want to buy your own house and lot or section as they call it, if you want to live in the City, you need at least NZ$780,000.00 to a million NZ dollars for a 3 bedroom house with a garage and small lot..equivalent of around 35 to 40 million in Phil pesos. The banks here can give you a mortgage up to 80% of the value of the property, which means you need 20% deposit, another requirement both you and your husband or partner must be on the high income earner bracket, at least your combined income is at $150,000.00 and above annually and you must be below 50 years of age per bank requirements for a 15 year term loan..this is an advice from a Pinay-Kiwi accountant now retired and living in New Zealand for 38 years, married to a Kiwi..owning a car is easier just have a good job, apply for Finance loan, but you must pass a driving test in accordance to.their standards..lately, the NZ Police is suspicious of foreign licenses..

    • @snowsansa1527
      @snowsansa1527 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@pinaykiwi9223 Anybody can own a house here in New Zealand as long as you a New Zealand resident, regardless if you are a cleaner or manager as long as you have the required deposit and prove to the bank that you have a permanent employment and you can service the mortgage. Depending on the location where you want to buy a house, the price depends where and how pussy you are. If you are a first time homeowner and you want a brand new house with a 4 bedroom and a couple of bathrooms then it will take you a while to get into the property ladder, but If you are not as choosy and all you want is to get into the property ladder then, then start saving now. Start from low then go high up later.

      Our first home is in the Northshore City Auckland, a small 3 bedrooms 1 bath home with 2946sqm land, but the land is zoned as single dwelling, as most part of the land is a reserved, so even if we own the Property we can't build a house because of the zoning, we can only build a minor dwelling, it's like a granny's flat not a proper house. I was a cleaner at Northshore Hospital, it's not a glamorous job but I earned around 60k a year, and my husband is a Tradesman, a Certified printer. So, owning a house here don't discriminate. We are tired of servicing a high weekly mortgage, so we move to a town. Now my house is an old Villa with 1540sqm land, walking distance to the supermarket and shops and has 6 to 8 bedrooms, if we need more rooms, then we have 8 bedrooms, for now 6 bedrooms and the 2 converted to gym and playroom. From Auckland to South Taranaki. Now, I work in KFC 4 houses away from home and my husband in Fonterra. From Hospital Cleaner to Front of House, both not a glamorous job titles. We started from a very tight budget to a relax life now. Just be determined and try start from the bottom and climb up later. It can be done. Just don't be negative. Everything is possible. Told you all of these to inspire and not to intend to brag.

    If you're at median rate NZ$ 27 hourly working 8hrs a day for 5 days in a week. 27 x 8 hrs x 5 days = NZ$ 1,080. Less tax 30% (324) = NZ$ 756. Less house rent pa per week. Magkano nalang matitira sa earning mo in a week. Less food pa.

      Your computation is wrong. If that is your rate most likely you are tax around 17.50% not 30%. $27x40=1,080 tax 17.5%(189) then another 3% deduction if you have 3% kiwisaver (1,080x3%=32.40) Summary $1,080 less tax of $189.00 less kiwisaver of $32.40 equals $858.60 more or less take home pay. That is a 1person income, that is more than enough. You don't have to rent the entire house if you are just by yourself, it's just a waste of hard -earned money, just go flatting or live in a boardinghouse. If that income is for a family, in Auckland that is not enough, in smaller town that is enough, otherwise your wife has to work to contribute the family income.

      @@laurencejacaban2386 you can work as many days as you want, but 40 hours a week is the norm, but no one stopping you if you work more hours that means more tax you contribute.
