Every time I listen to a live recording of a Dire Straits song I am reminded that they were one of the rare bands that were even better live than on a record. Truly wonderful!

@@edwardcarranza3697 presumably you mean the bootleg ones from the Wembley and final Australian shows? I have those too. There is no official release from the tour.
I think the same thing. On the description says "All rights reserved from ITV." Probaly it's a show that played only on TV's transmission at ITV.

Queen's live at the bowl was a live broadxast too, but they released it on dvd, cd and vinyl. So nothing is impossible

As huge and old MK and DS fan I watch this video and after 38 years in my mind the question is always the same: why this incredible and historical concert never released? Why all the material from the BIA tour never realised in CD and DVD? I hope one day someone will decide to realise all the DS's live music possibly before the end of the world.

@@joseandoain9418 There are also official records from the first DS era, Alchemy and On the Night tour never realised (and tv and radio shows with great audio/video quality). Fverybody knows that On the night deserved to be published in double, triple or quadruple cd/DVD with all the wonderful material officially recorded. It was the last tour!!!! I don't know why but as huge fan it's very sad and incomprehensible.

I was born 1962 and turned 62 July 2024.great tunes. The late 70s 80'S 90's were the best many great memories. Back when things made sense. So much loust back then. Still here September 2024.ear buds in blasting that music and locked the world outside.

Jack Sonni´s performance on this tour was bringin so much energy and joy to the band and the crowd, a really happy rocker, his smile, his backing vocals and his dances fits so perfectly with every song and of course his amazing light blue blazer

Dire Straits was one of the bands that live versions it's always better than music's studio versions, cause So Far Awy don't have a solo in the original record on studio, but in this live on wembley Mark plays one of the best improvised solos of his career.

But you can see how concentrate is MK to deliver that solo for perfect match with song. Genious.

A fusion between rock and country rock music which fit perfectly with the finger picking style of Mark, a heavy country music influence guitar player. We will never hear these style of songs again as the audience is quite different and will not consume this style of music anymore. We now can enjoy a very special time in our history where quality of music mattered more than what anyone looked like.

I am also a huge DS/MK fan and have been since first hearing Sultans way back in 78. I saw the BIA tour at the Greek in LA during the summer of 85, what a phenomenal show! After the encore, their manager came out with a bottle of Champagne and announced that the band had the number one Song (Money for Nothing) the number one CD, BIA the number one music video (MFN), and the number one highest-grossing tour for the year. What a great memory that is!

But anyway, i hope that someday the full recording appears.. as the same way as ALCHEMY. I thought Alchemy in any vault its complete, but we only know the "cutted" version that its oficially released.
