They are equal in terms of 100m PBs. But Sha'Carri won the 100m when it counted most. Gotta respect the champ. That's not given, it's earned. And she did it from lane 9! Even Shelly Anne and the other Jamaicans were bigging her up with Luv.
Shericka owns the 200m with championship record after record. And painfully close to the WR.
What a beautiful rivalry between 2 talented and powerful Athletes. And what an AMAZING era for Women's Sprints!

Shacarri really improved a lot. I dont hate her but i believe Shericka Jackson can beat Richardson in 100m. Firstly, during the 100m in budapest, Richardson was not even in the peripheral view of Jackson. As we know, runners run faster when pressured by other runners. Jackson assumed she was the lead. Secondly during 4 X 100m in the WAC, Jackson was closing in her distance at the last leg. I believe if there is another 100m challenge, Shericka might win. And its great to see ETH back in action. Yessss! Great going ETH, you won. What do I mean? While you didn't win the race, you passed the test. Miss Richardson (as I call her now, because she earned it) is on top of her game so I'm not going to talk about her, yet. I'm focusing on the women you did beat. Zoe, TT, Hobbs, "twin kam" kambunju, Forbes, Clarke, Antonique. All these ladies have had more races under their belts and less public pressure to deal with and after a loooong layoff, you still beat them all. Now it's time to continue the regrouping process and ...well you know what you have to do.😉🥇🏆😊

Based on this race, Elaine is going to blaze Shacarri in the Olympics if she can avoid injury until the Olympics.
Her peak is far greater than anything I've seen from Shacarri.

@@jacobmiller2663 Her times are not even close to Elaine at her best.
If Elaine regains her form, it's over.
Elaine is the second fastesr woman EVER in both the 100 and 200.
Well, at least was for the 200 before Sharicka Jackson did what she did in the world champs.
The ONLY reason Shacarri is winning is because both Shelly Anne and Elaine have had injury issues lately, especially Elaine.
But remember, this has happned before.
It happened the last time she won a double at the Olympics.
She was having injury woes then too and peaked just in time for the Olympics.
If Eliane doesn't get another injury until the Olympics, its OVER!

No surprise here, when you are competing against an athlete that is recovering from an injury and is not a challenge to you the obvious thing is for you to win!.
This is Sha'Carri's blessed time to shine in the 100m, the only question is how long will it last?.The only ones able to answer that question are those sprinters who have done faster times than 10:88 in the past!.Is up to them.

@@ahmedkarieh8102 :In the world of sprinting what counts is not who have you beaten or how many times have you done it, what really counts is what place do you hold in history as it relates to the FASTEST time in X distance!.
Elaine Thompson Herah (NOT Sha'Carri Richardson) holds the HISTORIC record as the 2nd fastest woman in the 100m with 10:54;(Sha'Carri's 10:65 is a slower time)!
Sherika Jackson another Jamaican phenomenal ELITE sprinter holds the HISTORIC record in the 200m as the 2nd fastest woman with 21:45 (Sha'Carri isn't able to even come close to 21:90)!
In FACT both Jamaican legendary sprinters have recorded much faster times than Sha'Carri Richardson therefore regardless if Sha'Carri Richardson would beat them 90% of the time the Jamaicans are considered faster than the American Sha'Carri!.

I don't think those people you mentioned would be able to answer that question any more. She has beaten all of them this year and I also expect the 2024 Olympics to be the last one for the current Jamaican greats. We are entering into a new era of women sprint and Sha'Carri is it's new face.
