Just like the Maximus. That rear shock tower mounting to the diff case is a weak spot. But looks like a great truck can’t lie they do make great cars
Bill Perri you know what your prolly right. I just upgraded to the aluminum thigh :-(. I guess I couldn’t help myself I literally put it together 2 days ago after a bad landing but the Maximus is really such a fun truck fly’s through the air smooth as ever

Bro I just scored the dhk hunter bl off Amazon for 190$ shipped!! I couldn't pass it up lol. Looks like I'm coming for your crown of king of the sct!!! Although I'm at only 2 so I got a long way to go to catch you! I just fiqured this truck would be a good match to have with my maximus which has been one of my toughest trucks! Hey philthy I was wondering how many Rcs do you own? Just curious. It will make me feel a little better and that I'm not alone lol. I almost feel like I need to check into rehab or something. 😂😂👊🍻

@@philthyco1 Wow!!! Nice man! It's got a 3970kv brushless motor and a 50a esc. I'm gonna put a bigger motor/esc combo in it down the line but should be good to bash around with. You just made me feel better as I only have 10! I remember the days when I just had my jlb cheetah then added the dhk maximus lol. I used to be afraid to run them as I was afraid to break them and have to wait for parts from China for 3 weeks! Still got your helion? I gotta run mine. It's only been run like 3, 4 times and still looks brand new lol.
@@cwatson42785 I order from the Banggood L.A warehouse when I can..2 day shipping..Yup I have it still..I'll never sell it as it is a special rig that can't be bought anymore..Just like a lot of Tamiya stuff gets discontinued and it makes the price and want double but the Helion Avenge is a beast with a 4300kv and 80 amp ESC..Wheelie on demand at any speed pretty much lol
@@philthyco1 I totally agree on the helion. I think that's why I'm afraid to drive it lol. But I think with the banggood thing that only certain things are in their la warehouses. Every time I order from them parts anyway for my jlb or dhk they only have the option from China. But now that my collection has grown it's not a big deal if I have to wait 3 weeks but if its your only truck it sucks having to wait.
