Mind if i ask why people say this? Cuz Whitney is an undoubtedly a superb artist but Whitney’s vocal range is actually significant lower than many. Her songs are very cool because of the literal craftsmanship of them, not necessarily only the vocal part- not technically hard for semi professionals/ professionals to sing her songs. And again her songs are not just about technicality.

Despite not being a technician per se Whitney executed some very advanced and technically difficult vocal feats. I don't care much for range but a I wouldn't say a C#3- G6 vocal range is significantly lower than many.
