They took these roles because they recognized the beauty and creativity in the characters; the gay relationship was simply another part of the characters (albeit an important one). They are able to act out gay roles both because they are good actors, and because they are mature enough to do their jobs without reacting like middle schoolers
The episode rocked today especially Jake's outstanding performance...the Nuke scene on the couch was soooo cute and i was soooo relieved that Luke came back and they made up :D Oh and thanx Andy once again for posting these...and 'Congratulations' on winning your award 'cuz frankly you sooo deserve it :D

OH SNAP! DRAMA!!! It's about time this storyline got some drama in it! The dynamic between Noah and his father is like OMG! You just cringe in agony and excitement at the same time. Jake Silbermann (Noah) is such a good actor when he's put in dire situations. woohoo for craziness!

God, they are just soo romantic together! Love the way that Jake looks at Van and says that line about not being able to touch him. Also, I have never seen a tv actor that changes his hair so frequently like Van. His hair is different in every single episode. He looks much younger with bangs, though.

Agreed they need to have more affection. A kiss on the cheek to start on a reg. basis would be cool and then work up to the lips. But they need to stop the "brother like" hugs. Yeah I can't wait to find out what Ameera and Colonel are up too! Luke needs to do some investigating.
