WOW...great question! Like all gizmos of this nature...you have to realize its limitations. We use it to "fatten up" some spots, and in that purpose it's fine. As you can hear in this video. I would never use it to replace the 3 part harmonies in "I've Seen All Good People," but for areas where you want to semi-simulate the layering done on some studio recordings, it's very doable.
