My favourite game of all time. This was my childhood 😂. My only issue is that I had no one to verse because nobody knew this game (I still don’t have anyone to verse actually 😂) I loved that in this level you could end up with 2 Avatars at the end of the level 😂
lol this game was my childhood too. I never got into any sequels or similar games tho. I just went straight into Starcraft and Command&Conquer from here My favorite creatures by far were the Demon Spawns, they were so cute to me. To this day I still have a fascination when ever I see big lizards swimming through lava 🤣
WOOT In my version of the game the avatar respawns in the final attack on the north west and is able to break boulder-traps without taking damage! Still WP
+GH044 If you kill all the heroes on the map before the avatar spawns, it triggers the level win condition prematurely. Kind of winning on a technicality, but you know, speedruns are all about exploits like that.
Hm, interesting to see that the resurrection of the Avatar can be skipped. It would also interesting to see if this level would even be faster beaten with the witch from the secret level for faster research. She can also manufacture.
@@1211-n4d You could theoretically save the time and money for all the petrodeus on the Avatar. Just blow him at the blue Keepers doorstep, and go to another task.
I just tortured the first Avatar in order to force him to walk over to my side. Once that was done I could buff my avatar in attacking the second one. I basically played a Dungeon Keeper 'pacifist' in that highest level; torturing everyone into walking to my side. Nobody died.
Royal Safewood That is rather strange really, because when I played it in 1999 it really worked as how I've stated it in my previous post 3 years ago. Could it be that a later update had changed this?
Royal Safewood Ah, the Gold Edition! That might be it. I was playing Vanilla game at the time and didn't even know enough about computers back then that I could play it any other way. I was 13. :) Thanks for looking it up! It's always nice to being able to lift up some of the mysteries of one's own childhood. I actually have finished this game at that age; 13. And I was so proud of myself! And it was so HARD to manage! But I was persistent and just because I managed to 'rehabilitate' the Avatar in my torture cen- ... I mean of course in my 'rehabilitation' centrum (oops, me and my loose tongue), he was able to to fight himself and with the rest of my level 10 magically overboosted creatures the other Avatar was toast in no-time, rehabilitated as well and then the game ended. I was so satisfied! :D

What I eventually did was go into sort of pacifist mode the moment that enemies could be converted and took prisoners left and right until I had them all together ready to partycrash the torture chamber. Worked like a charm, you know? No red dots left on the field anymore whatsoever. And Avatar didn't even stood a change when I let mine and his minions let loose on him.
Dungeon Keeper has tons of hotkeys H = jump to Dungeon Heart L = Library, T = Treasure Room, etc... if you press them multiple times it cycles through all the rooms you built of that type
only four lvl 10 mistresses and boulder traps will kill all adversaries, including avatar twice. capture one, convert, train, then scavenge from enemy. too easy
Am just upset why dungeon keeper not making game in hd , for now with some more creativity. The main theme characters everything are just perfect as of part 1. Please dungeon keeper maker... I know how you suffered in making of 2nd part. But, I want you to make new one !

I always loved how the low graphics make the fly icon look like mice and the imp icon makes them look like they're wearing sun glasses 😂

Don't think it's faster with the witch. I tested. She adds the 35 sec penalty as well for getting her.

ctrl+number = save screen position
shift+number = jump to saved screen position
Dungeon Keeper has tons of hotkeys

I don't remember the Troll rape scene ending in my version of DK? Was it made for GOG or something? I just remember it going straight to credits.
It is also in the original game. Guess your PC at the time would be the problem not playing it.
